Lents entered the solar system in a flash of starlines and the inaudible rush of his battered old Y-wing exiting hyperspace. He punched in a course for Ossus, where he knew one of the bigger Jedi camps was hidden somewhere in a jungle. He remembered Master Beckoaret talking about the other Jedi camps in the galaxy, and what they primarily focused on. Lents remembered that on Ossus, the Jedi focused on more offensive force abilities and telekinesis, which he knew he needed a lot of work on. This way, he thought, I can kill two birds with one stone. I can talk to the Ossus master about reuniting the Jedi and I can practice honing my abilities to better defend myself in my mission. Tha galaxy is a dangerous place, and my first priority should be knowing how to survive.

Lents zeroed in on the planet, aiming his Y-wing at the largest patch of forest, where he knew the enclave would be hidden. Stretching out his barely-trained force senses towards the forest to try to glean where it was, he was unable to sense anything, then realizing that in order for the enclave to actually be hidden, the Jedi there would need to hide their force signal as well. Touching down in a clearing amidst the high trees and think underbrush, Lents pondered the best way to locate the camp. Figuring no other solution, he climbed back into his Y-wing and made a course for one of the major cities near the vast jungle, in hopes of finding a Jedi there that could take him back.

Lents noticed another ship heading towards the minor world. A coincidence? Maybe the pilot just had business on Ossus. But then Lents felt something. The Dark Side. True, it wasn't very strong, as if it was rusty after a long period of non-use, but the Dark Side was the Dark Side, and the fact that a user was heading towards the same relatively unimportant planet as Lents was too much to be just coincidence. It couldn't be that Chiss that gave Lents that cube, it was a different kind of aura. But whoever it was, Lents realized he needed to be very careful lest the Dark-Side user follow him to the enclave and betray their position to the Emperor.

(damn i wish i knew what that meant)
Skeang began to listen and look for signs or city of life he heard a small craft and began to tail it he attempts to draw close unable to tell who or what is in the other craft but he is able able to at least notice some use of the force he begins to remember the last time he had a fight and starts to hope that he gets some fun from whoever is in the craft.

Lents realized the Dark Sider in the other ship near Ossus was following him. This worried him, but putting on a calm demeanor, directed a com channel at the other ship using the rear scan data that thankfully still worked on his Y-Wing. "May I help you?" Lents asked through the channel.

Skeang now drawing near replied in a humorous manner "that depends I'm looking for somewhere to learn and if not, can you fight?" He continued to approach

Lents took an extremely brave step screaming against his instincts and replied "I don't know, Dark Sider, shouldn't you go the the Emperor and train under his lackeys?" As soon as he said that his body ran cold, fearing what the Dark Sider in the Z95 Headhunter could do against his old and hardly battle-ready Y-Wing. Or whether the Dark Sider could overpower him should it come to planet-side hand-to-hand combat.

"The dark side? ha I grew apart from them before you were even born." said skeang pulling up as close as possible "I'm in this for me and to take down those who destroyed my planet ages ago, but unfortunatly I lack the training I need right now" He paused for a second and said "Of course im willing to take anyone who thinks they are a match for me on i work to bring down the dark but i live for the fight"

Lents was confused at first, then remembered some of the Jedi of lore from the New Republic, those that used the Dark Side for good means. When Master Beckoaret had told him about these people, these Neojedi, as they were evidently titled, Lents laughed and could not see how one could use the inherently selfish Dark Side to further the cause of good in the galaxy. But then Master Beckoaret had told him that the Dark Side was the mere use of powerful emotions to further one's own power, and that were his selfish desires held in check, it would be extremely probable that one could safely use his emotions and desires for good to utilize the Dark Side in one's own quests. Lents personally preferred not risking falling down that path, but appreciated any help against the hateful empire that ruled for the past four hundred years. But then something the Neojedi had said caught his attention. He had mentioned those that destroyed his planet ages ago, and that could only mean at the hands of a Death Star or even the hideous Sun Crusher, as they were destroyed and the knowledge of their design locked away in the mind o a fellow Omwati such as Lents himself: a brilliant scientist by the name of Qwi Xux. Since the Neojedi hated the Empire so, then the only planet he could have come from was Alderaan, yet that was destroyed five hundred fifty years ago to the year. Who was this Neojedi that could have lived through the First Galactic Civil War so long ago? Not even Master Beckoaret had tallied that many years. Unless the Neojedi were lying, but Lents had a knack for reading people and hearing and occasionally influencing their minds and desicions, and felt no hint of lying from this mysterious figure. As many questions as Lents had, he felt inclined to believe him. He had been silent, lost in his thinking process for long enough, and felt inclined to answer the Neojedi. "You say you want to bring down the Empire, and need training? It seems that we may have something in common. Meet me in the spaceport bar in Knossa when you land." Lents felt some apprehension at scheduling a potentially fatal meeting with a Dark Sider he didn't even know, let alone trust, but the potential good outweighed the bad. True, Lents was potentially putting his life on the line with this meeting, but he was also potentially gaining an ally in his almost solitary fight to rally the Jedi against the Empire once and for all, and every ally he could acquire could provide a great boon. He angled his ship downward and landed in garage 48B, finished his post-flight routine, then walked over to the social hub around which the entire port revolved, even in Ossus' later, more obscure days. He ordered a stimcaf from the bartender droid and nervously waited for this mysterious Neojedi to answer his invitation.

Skeang heard the reply and took great pleasure in the idea that this new jedi shared his dislike of the empire. He flew into the station and began to look around for the one he had talked to. He walked into the bar. Hearing the heartbeat of the jedi he walked up behind him putting one hand on his shoulder and saying "so your the one i talked to on the way? I'm surprised you didn't run or attack like the others did i know the presence i give isn't one your kind take to fondly but i hope you won't regret this meeting. I am Skeang I was indeed trained among the sith but my years among the other flesh wads among this and other worlds have shown me that the sith arn't exactly who I should of sided with. I fight for myself and for those destroyed on my home planet. My blades are strong and I enjoy using them but unfortunatly my power of the force is weak and if you can help me grow stronger or know someone who can I'd be glad to call you ally" He attempted to order a drink waiting for a response and asked "so who might you be?"

"Alright, Skeang." Lents warily agreed. "I guess that makes us allies. I'm Lents. Lents Terria. Technically I'm stilla Padawan but I felt compelled to leave the camp on Coruscant, where I came from. I was on my way to the hidden Jedi enclave in Ossus' jungle to try to talk to them about reuniting with the rest of the galaxy's Jedi and banding together so we can defeat this Empire once and for all. I don't know if they've seen a Neojedi or how they'll react, but maybe they can see that every bit of help is needed in this war. The only thing is that I don't know where they are, the jungle is really big..." As Lents said thet, he got an idea. He could broadcast a message ot the jungle and the Jedi could pick it up, decipher its meaning, and send him back the coordinates. Picking up his comlink, he told Skeang "I Think I found a way to find them." He sent a message to his Y-Wing's computer, which subsequently broadcast it over the planet, in hopes the Jedi would pick it up and relay him their coordinates. "Jedi are the guardians of peace in the galaxy. Jedi use their powers to defend and to protect. Jedi respect all life, in any form. Jedi serve others rather than ruling over them, for the good of the galaxy. Jedi seek to improve themselves through knowledge and training."

Receiving a message rerouted through his Y-Wing's computer, Lent's comlink beeped. Reading the scrolling text, Lents saw a reply message from an unknown number. "There is no emotion." Lents instantly recognized the first words from the old Jedi code. Almost literally completely unknown now, Lents realized it was a good test or not, as only a true Jedi would remember the next half of the line. He quickly tapped out a response. "There is only peace."

skeang flew at close distance and attempted to break the scilence asking "so we can expect a warm welcome with me around I hope you tell a good story or things may get a little tricky for me. Let me know what kind of help I can provide the force can complicate thing bit my people's senses have made us marvelous when it comes to sensing other beings nearby."

"That should help us should we run into trouble." Lents replied as he distractedly tried to read the encreypted then decrypted coordinates on his comlink while simultaneously firing up his Y-wing. He flew over the jungle, and set the coordinates to a tracker in the onboard computer, then shiwtched to autopilot and typed out a message of who he was and why he wanted to visit the enclave. He encoded the message then sent it, and leaned back as his Y-wing and Skeang's Headhunte flew over the dense jungle. He had heard that other jungles were worle, like on Dxun, a haven of the Dark Side, or even Yavin IV, above which the rebels famously destroyed the Death Star in the Battle of Yavin, around which the current calendar was based. Still though, Lents hadn't been privvy to see many jungles on Coruscant and was fascinated by the sheer number of trees and plants and even the occasional wild animal running beneath like tiny ants, even though he knew some could grow to several times the size of an Omwati.

Skeang began to wonder about this new ally as a naturally aggressive person he did not fear but knew that this new friend was many many years younger and wondered if he was as knowledgeable as he appeared attempting to make conversation (as you can presume he is not a social genius) he said "so if we plan on working together for the time being I need to know as a Jedi how are you in battle? I'm not sure of your goals but along with revenge becoming unopposed in battle is something I've worked on for a few hundred years now, since my training as a sith began I found pleasure in fighting. I tend to fall short in the aspects of the force and how to control it but a few hundred years has been enough time for me to get to know my blades, and despite the trouble of regrowing parts lost fighting I love the idea of a challenging fight."

"Hmmm," Lents thought. He wondered if he really ever was in a fight for his life. He had always been quite talented with his lightsaber's form IV and II back at the Coruscant camp and had usually done better than the other padawans. "I actually have a similar situation. My saberwork was pretty good back at the camp, but my battle-focused force powers were always lacking. That said, I have an affinity for hearing, reading, and occasionally even controlling the minds of animals and even sentient beings, on occasion. So tell me Skeang, how were you able to live so long? You mention being born on Alderaan, and just now you said you've trained your blades for a couple hundred years."

Skeang chuckled as he began "Ah seems like you have never encountered my kind. I am a gen'dai we live several thousand years and despite the fact that we are usually a kind and gentel people our ability to regenerate and lack of organs that most species survive on make us quite durable. I use this durablity with my stlye so I allow myself to fight damgerously unrestrained so I can land the critical hits and deal with any trivial injuries while my opponents lay in pieces. As for the force all I accomplished was the ability to not notice pain until after the fight."

Lents was intrigued by Skeang's race, but thought he had remembered hearing about another gen'dai several hundred years ago. They were by no means a common race, and Skeang was the first Lents had ever met personally. Soon enough Lents' Y-wing's navicom beeped at him and he noticed that they were in the vicinity of the camp. Switching back to manual control, Lents eased down on the Y-wing's throttle, bringing the ship down into a small opening in the treetops which led to a tunnel of tree trunks Lents never would have noticed otherwise. Making his way through the relatively few twists and turns, Lents ended up in a clearing that was almost completely covered by a ceiling of tree branches to provide minimum visibility for anyone scanning from above. Touching down, Lents opened the hatch and saw another opening in the clearing that led to where the camp was, underneath a similar structure of obscuring branches. Seeing the Jedi master--a cerean--waiting for him, Lents greeted him in the traditional Jedi fashion, and allowed the master to probe his mind for security reasons. Lents explained who he was and what his mission was while he waited for Skeang to catch up. Lents explained about Skeang and after a little persuading, the master allowed them both free travel throughout the camp.

skeang cautiously followed Lents through the camp he had been through several unplesant experiences with such groups of Jedi recently and despite having an ally still found it wise to not draw any attention to himself until nessisary.
