*occ* it felt right for Hurrikaine to start this part up so we are having him set the stage he can change this when he logs on this weekend.
Hurrikaine docked his ship deep in the maw. An enormous base in this desolate region. Hurrikaine dragged his captive to his new master. A monster by any means his master was. A sith inquositioner deformed over every inch of his body through bioengineering, mechanical enhancement and the scars and burns of his failed experiments. He left Sarvina in his care and left to another side of the base for repairs and recharging.

Skeang landed his and Lent's ships at a side entrance to the base. It was undermanned due to the fact that it was well hidden in maw. Nobody would bother to look out there for whatever this base was. "Why would Hurrikaine come all the way out here?" Skeang yelled toward Lent's ship as he exited his own. He felt uneasy. The fact that this place was so far out and yet had so little guards meant it was either abandoned or the person in charge was very confident and felt very secure. "We were flying for a while your good to go now right? you took a lot of damage back in the tower."

After a few days in deep hyperspace and intense stasis meditation, Lents had mostly recovered. His muscles still twinged occasionaly when he made any sudden movements, but other than that he was running as basically full capacity. He docked the 'Rush and followed Skeang into the installation. It felt claustrophobic--trapped almost--being in the middle of so many black holes, as if the entire Maw could collapse at any second. But it had stood for thousands of years in an almost paradoxical stability. Lents cleared his mind and focused on the task at hand. "Yeah, Skeang, I'm alright. I should be able to take on any Imperial troopers still hanging around here. I remember from the histories that this used to be an Imperial military research installation." He shuddered. "The Sun Crusher was developed here, as well as the Death Star. By an Omwati named Qwi Xux. This station was the only reason the Empire was interested in my people, and look at me now, back here to face their ghosts." He bit his lip, and clenched his fists. "I don't know where Hurrikaine is--I think you should take point on this operation." He flicked his lightsaber on and off, getting psyched for whatever lay ahead. He didn't know why, but he was unusually fazed by this eerie place. "Let's go."

Skeang entered the installation trying not to make very much noise. He felt a strange presence in the air when he was walking in. Skeang felt an urgency in him. His ears began to betray him. He heard Sarvina screaming throughout the base. Skeang suddenly found himself running still feeling a powerful force in the base and kept moving. Every corridor began to blend together. Skeang heard voices and kept feeling as if he was suggested in directions. Faster and faster he ran until he turned back to consult Lents. Unfortunately Lents was not behind him he had been sprinting for an unknown amount of time at full speed and in this maze like facility he had lost him. Skeang sent a message to Lents. "Be careful... My senses are going wild in here there is more then just Hurrikaine and Sarvina in here. I am sorry to have run off but I have no idea what is going on in here. This place is like a maze and I keep hearing and smelling things, if you can see anything to mark where you have been be sure to otherwise we might get lost in here for quite some time.

Lents ran, trying to keep up with Skeang, but Omwati naturally had very low stamina and he couldn't keep up. "Skeang, wait!" he called out, but the gen'dai was already too far in front to hear. Lents stopped, doubled over with his hands on his knees. He stayed there panting for a minute, then started to walk. Suddenly his comlink beeped. He looked at it, and got a message from Skeang. "Well, at least he noticed that I was missing." He tapped back a reply:
With that he reached out with his force sense. Skeang was in one direction, so he angled himself away and followed an aimless path down a different hallway. The installation was very creepy--and empty too. Somehow the oppressive silence of abandonment made Lents even more nerve wracked, as if a horde of defels were hiding in plain sight, waiting to tear him apart at any moment. He swallowed his fears and felt around with his force sense for Hurrikaine or Sarvina, but the installation was too big to be able to cover with Lents' range. "Come on, at least let me find a direction sign or something--anything to let me know where in the galaxy I'm going." As if by magic, Lents saw a glowing sign that read
[glow=red,2,300]RESEARCH BAY[/glow] "Well, that looks promising," and he continued forward.

Skeang felt that his senses were failing him in this massive place he kept running down tunnels and hallways looking for some clue to where he had ended up. Eventually Skeang felt something familiar in the next room over. He opened the door to find a familiar pair of glowing eyes across the room from him.
*Occ* Hurrikaine better hurry the hell up and if someone wants to get the wild animal npc and the sith npc Lents is gonna run into em both pretty soon

Hurrikaine saw his friend step into his chamber. "Help help." He called out. But no words were heard. Hurrikiane charged forward at Skeang stabbing forward at him with his lightsaber and punched down at his leg with one of his free hands.

Lents entered the research bay, but didn't sense Hurrikaine--or Sarvina. Instead, he saw countless cryo-tubes of... "What are those...? Vornskrs?" Lents did not want to disturb vornskrs. He knew they hunted using the force, and so were particularly aggressive towards force-sensitives. He cautiously neared one of the stasis tanks. "Wait, those aren't vornskrs..." The creatures had a more reptilian look, and the coloring looked off. Lents had never seen a vornskr live, but he knew what they looked like from his lessons. Then he realized what the difference was. These weren't vornskrs, these were "Oh kark," he said. Voxyns. The Yuuzhan Vong bred-for-Jedi-hunting genetically overpowered voxyns. Lents needed to get out of there. he started to back up, footsteps falling with a cringe-worthy loudness on the cold steel floor. He would need to find Skeang. He had gotten much more powerful ever since he left the Enclave on Coruscant, but he didn't know if he could take on a voxyn yet... much less an entire lab-ful. Who knew what further alterations these monsters had been given?

Several creatures stirred from their pre-born slumber.
Hunger.. The light.... Devour the light... Must feed..
The creatures sensed the being who had entered the chamber. Normally the Voxyn would prey upon any force sensitive individual. These specimens however had been tainted by Dark side magics and augmented by arcane Sith sciences and thus especially craved light-siders. They craved Jedi.
The creatures' senses triggered neural implants within their skulls, activating the alarm system.
INTRUDER IN BAY 3: ACTIVATING LOCK-DOWN AND OBSERVATIONAL EXPERIMENT PROTOCOL.
Suddenly the durasteel blast doors to the lab fell shut. Small lights came on at the base of the incubation tubes. Most of them turned red, ray shields activating to protect the still unformed creatures. Three however glowed an eerie, ominous green. The voxyn in these tubes looked fully formed and in peak condition. Klaxons sounded as the incubation fluid was drained from the tubes and all of the nutrient and oxygen tubes were disconnected from the voxyn. When the transparisteel tubes ascended the creatures lazily slumped to the floor. As they wobblingly lifted themselves up the sedative haze began to clear.
..Light...is here...
As they gained their balance the beasts spotted the humanoid who had entered. Vidscreens activated, projecting the creatures' view through their optic implants.
LIVE EXPERIMENT NOW RECORDING. Feed..devour the light..
The beasts began to move in trying to close in their new prey. As they did the sedatives had worn off enough for the beasts to begin growling wildly, baring their salivating fangs. Finally their pupils contracted with rage and blood lust, the overwhelming instincts to tear this being apart screamed out within every molecule of their bodies as they finally converged on the humanoid. The left one pounced claws first at his legs, its paws a nest of unsanitary microbes and viruses which would most certainly cause a very quick and likely fatal infection. The one to his front launched a super corrosive acid from its gaping maw toward his head. The one to his right lashed a barbed tail full of paralytic neorotoxin toward his side.
Feed- Eat- Kill- Kill- KILL!

Skeang saw Hurrikaine come in fast. He parried with his saber but his leg was swept by Hurrikaine's punch. Skeang tried to make it so he would fall right on him.

Lents' eyes barely had time to widen as the voxyns recovered form their slumber with stunning speed. He turned to sprint out of the room, but the heavy blast door shut, locking him in with those monsters. His lightsaber flew off his belt at the will of his Force power and ignited, but didn't seem to deter the voxyns at all. "Oh kriff." The one on his left pounced towards his legs, inflected claws bared, while the one in front spewed acid right for Lents' head. The voxyn on his right whipped its barbed tail towards his side. Lents opened up to the Force and spun to the right while backflipping over the voxyn on his left. The barbed tail raked angrily across his breastplate, but he dodged over the voxyn's claws to his left. As he passed over the beast though, his foot snagged some of the acid and flicked droplets over his body. The pain was wretchedly bad, but he had to fight to ignore it, in the process losing grip over his lightsaber. He landed shakily on his feet behind the pouncing voxyn, and as quickly as his toes touched the ground, he bolted away, fleeing through the maze of incubation tubes. Lents didn't have time to grab his lightsaber--he just needed to get out of that corner. He stomped on the ground twice, building up energy for one quick Force blast. Right before he ran head-first into one of the incubation tubes, he unleashed the blast, warping the ray shield and shattering the glass inside. The fluid rushed out of containment, bu shuddered and sparked when it hit the ray shield, shorting it out. Lents didn't have time to watch as the charge blew through the system, causing all the other ray shields to fail--because the voxyns had reconvened and turned on him again. And they stood between him and his lightsaber, which lay deactivated on the ground at the foot of the blast door.

SECURITY SYSTEMS IN LAB 3 POWERED DOWN. STAND BY FOR RE-BOOT IN 60 SECONDS.
Two of the voxyn began to weave their way through the incubation tubes while one waited for their meal to be lured out. One of the voxyn pounced on a moving shape, but as one could see on the wall vid-screen it turned out to be the body of the incomplete voxyn that the humanoid had used to short the ray shields. The other spotted its prey; charging in from the side, the beast growled and pounced on his prey.

Lents threw out a palm and tried to force-push the voxyn away, but aimed too low and only succeeded in spinning it around as it flew towards him. Luckily, the infectious claws didn't hit him, but the beast's bony back slammed into his chest, knocking him to the ground. He wormed around, and the beast also struggled, whipping the barbed tail dangerously close to Lents' head. He swallowed to whet his dry throat, and pushed again, flinging the monster off him. Before the voxyn hit the ground, Lents had scrambled to his feet and was already running orthogonal to the other stalker, using the Force to pull his lightsaber towards him. The hilt flew through the air and the yellow blade sprung to life. Lents directed it at another one of the stasis tubes. He jumped up on a collision course for the glass casing, but the lightsaber tore through the upper half of the glass and the tubes, freeing up the space above the bottom of the stasis tank. Lents redirected the lightsaber away from him and landed on the edge of the half-broken glass tank, bracing both legs against the inside--a good ten feet above the ground. His lightsaber hung in the air, and he watched the ground below him, ever-alert for the voxyn predators.

As the voxyn regained its balance its kin were already headed towards their prey. The other one that had been in the maze of tubes reached him first. It lashed up at Lents furiously with its tail.
24 SECONDS TILL SECURITY SYSTEM RE-BOOT.

Occ- hard for me to get on during the week so lets make this quick
Hurrikaine used his boosters from his back to slide away from Skeang's knee. The impact of Skeang's body against his own was inevitable. He used one of his free arms to grab the back of Skeang's head and his other arm on that side to punch forward at his head.

Skeang took the full force of the punch to his face his insticts told him to harden his chest muscles and squish Hurrikaine helpless below him but he was unable to bring himself to. Skeang attempted to body slam Hurrikaine into the ground.

Hurrikaine felt a squishy pound as he tried to move away from the oncoming body slam. One of his legs was damaged. Not enough to ruin this fight for him but he could tell that his run path would be irregular and slower. He tried to make use of Skeang's now disposed position by stabbing toward the back of his neck.

Skeang heard the sound of the blade cutting into his flesh. It stung quite a bit causing Skeang to rear up like a wounded beast clawing and slashing furiously at anything behind him

Hurrikaine tried to hold his position behind Skeang but one of the claws struck him and opposed to being cut in half he took a few small puncture wounds in his side and flipped off toward the wall. Hurrikaine felt his force powers being activated against his own will as the boosters on has back fired up at double power and he sped forward toward skeang jumping and angling his blade to cut Skeang in half from the chest up. The voice that was pretending to be him spoke again.
"You should be better then this. I saw you back at the palace you were so fierce so fearless perfect for my experiments! I am disappointed you can't defeat this simple droid because you know the soul inside. You need a more monstrous more animalistic touch to you. If you sell yourself back to the sith I can give that to you as I have with your friend. He followed the light to the best he could but I sensed he craved power and through my own design I gave him power, power through alteration. You can be no different my enormous muscular monstrosity."

Skeang was astonished he had no comments for whatever was speaking to him. He parried the strike and grit his teeth. He felt that if he spoke he would lose himself to anger and his friend would be lost by his own hand.
