"Oh sithspawn!" Lents took a few impulsive steps back as the ceiling started to lose integrity and crumble around the impact point. Return the favor...? Oh heavens. Skeang expected too much of Lents, he couldn't possibly summon that much power. Lents' Omwati mind raced at the speed of light. His lightsaber deactivated and clipped itself to his belt. Lents closed his eyes. Okay Lents, get it together. You are a Jedi Knight, a warrior for the Order, a servant and master of the Force. The Force flows through all things... there is no emotion, only peace. "Let go of your doubt," Lents mumbled to himself as the structure turned into chaos on itself. Do or do not... there is no try." Lents clenched his hands together. Do or do not. He brought them back so that his open palms were in line with his shoulders. "Do!" He punched his hands out and let loose a wave of the Force which knocked the Shaper back away from Skeang amidst the ruination. Continuing through the movement, he gathered Skeang's unbelievably heavy and massive body in his Force grip, and pulled for all he was worth. Beads of sweat started to collect in the ridges of his forehead, and Skeang refused to move... ...started to gain momentum... ...accelerated... ...broke free of his inertia, hurtling back towards Lents. Lents' eyes opened for a split-second right before Skeang's dense mass of muscles plowed into his torso--his breastplate being the only thing keeping his bones intact. Lents fell back, losing wind under the weight of Skeang. "Come--come on--let's--go" He wheezed out. They had bought themselves some time, but it wasn't unlimited. The Shaper would find them, one way or another.

Skeang smiled as he regained his focus, Lents was pretty beat up so Skeang simply threw him and Sarvina over his shoulders and began to dash out of the complex. "I think that we might of actually knocked him out with that roof coming down. This place seems less like a maze already now that whatever he was doing to us had stopped." Skeang ran was able to easily find the exit of the facility after that. He threw Sarvina into the back of Lents's ship. And flew off having the 2 ships still linked. Once safely flying he told Lents. "That was pretty amazing back there Lents were even from that incident at the tower now. Whatever that complex was it was strange and we unfortunately could not retrieve Hurrikaine. I also have no idea what we should do now. I owe it to you to find where the Jedi ended up after Hurrikaine outted them to the empire. I actually have to find my tiny frog master at some point soon but I have no way of contacting him so I will help you til I get a clue as to where he is."

Lents was weary. Even more so than after their incident at the Control Tower, he had still been recovering from his injuries there when this had happened. He needed a place to stay, and rest. He needed to recover--and to finally be knighted. Legitimately. "And we were half-successful," he told himself. They had managed to rescue Sarvina, who was in the passenger bay right that minute. Hurrikaine was a different story. Lents wasn't entirely sure what was up with him, but from what he made of the information he had learned from Skeang, Hurrikaine was free. Well, still trapped in the will of the Shaper, but "free" to do the Shaper's work. Son in a sense they had succeeded...? Lents wasn't sure how that was going to come to a head--as it inevitably would--but Skeang seemed more or less content with the results of their foray into the Maw. And Lents was quite pleased with his displays of Force control when fighting those voxyns and the Shaper. Finally, once and for all, he felt he was ready to be knighted. He sent a message to Skeang's shipboard comp.

Skeang knew he had to find the neo-jedi who had helped gain control of his force powers right when he had met Hurrikaine, but Skeang had shortsightedly run off and now had no idea where his master was.
"Well would I be of any service on this business in Ossus? I am at a bit of an problem with getting Hurrikaine back. I don't seem to be near powerful enough to get him away from that sith we fought and the only sith that I know of who can train me is too illusive to just find. I don't expect to be able to get in with the empire again after the stunt at the palace so until I can find some sign of my master the service of Sarvina and I is yours."

Lents read the message and bit his lip. Skeang was a great friend and a very valuable ally, but there wasn't much for him on Ossus--well if he wanted to accompany Lents just for the sake of accompaniment, then Lents would by no means try to stop him; but he couldn't help but feel that there was a place--somewhere in the galaxy--where Skeang could receive beneficial training. The Jedi on Ossus wouldn't be much help in developing his dark side abilities. But maybe, just maybe, someone there would know a place, or a person, that could help Skeang out. Lents relayed this thought process to Skeang in a message, and followed up with

Skeang felt uneasy as Lents spoke about some impending doom that was coming. "You sure know how to make a guy uneasy about what should be a completely unlimited future." Skeang sighed thinking about Hurrikaine. "If there really is something coming I should get Hurrikaine back before it shows up. We can use all the help we can get, me and Sarvina will be there when the time comes." Skeang's mind wandered to his master again. "Well ponder me this, your a smart guy so you might be able to help. My master is what appears to be a deeply disturbed and violent frog creature, that has been gifted with near limitless power provided she takes lengthy breaks in between use. Where would someone who is on the run from the empire and has that kind of significant force energy go to hide?"

Lents was thinking about where a Force Master like that would be able to hide, and tapped out a response to Skeang.
But just as he hit send, the interface flashed with a new message.
Lents nearly fell out of his chair. Rayn?! Lents thought Rayn had been killed or imprisoned or something--what had that Chiss done? Regardless, as far as Lents knew, Rayn was in the Sith's hands, and he didn't think that the Sith would just allow Rayn free communication with Lents, unless it was a ploy to trap him or lure him to one of the Jedi camps. But the Sith claimed to not care about the Jedi, only about destroying the other Sith. Lents reeled. He was still extremely weary, and this confusion didn't help his mood. He tried to think about any of the possible hidden subtext behind the message, but he just got a headache--something that almost never happened. "Kark!" He massaged his temples and sent back a message. "I suppose I'll just continue the conversation and see where it goes--see if I can't glean any more clues about what in the galaxy is going on."
In the meantime, he turned back to the HoloNet. Clicking through planet after planet, he eventually came up with a possibility. A near-abandoned planet, but one that lie in the Outer Rim near Hutt Space... Dubrillion? Possibly there? He sent a message to Skeang

Rayn was overjoyed and relieved to hear him respond, "Oh, thank the Force.."

Occ: cant figure out the quote thing so deal.
Skeang remembered hearing of the destruction on Dubrillion and remembered that the majority of the planet now looked like where he had last trained with his master. He asked Lents. "You might be right." He heard Ryan through Lents's link. He felt much relief to hear him he spoke to Ryan. "Boy is it good to hear from you. That means we are only down one person from that attack on the palace and I am fixing to fix that in the near future. Provided Lents can pull over somewhere and give me his passenger I start hopping through the most horrible forsaken places in the galaxy looking for a little frog."

ooc: [ quote ] texttexttext [ / quote ] just remove all the spaces.
Lents sent a reply to Rayn.
He replied to Skeang, forwarding all the messages between himself, Skeang, and Rayn.
Lents began to maneuver the Illuminant Rush towards Skeang's vessel, and activated the ship-board intercom. "Hey Sarvina how you holding up? We just heard from Rayn and I need to get to Hoth asap, but Skeang is going to Dubrillion and he wants you to come with him. We're about to link ships and you get get to him. That sit well with you?" Sarvina still made Lents slightly nervous, but he trusted Skeang, and Skeang trusted her. Maybe it was just that her pheromones didn't work on gen'dai, but Skeang was comfortable around her, and so Lents had to make as many strong allies as possible in his crusade against the Empire.

Skeang saw Sarvina wobble into his ship. The place was cramped and she was still woozy from the whole experience. "Rest for now I ain't stopping til we get there."
Skeang took off toward the outer rim

Maybe Rayn had found a space-worthy vessel with enough power to get him off-planet? But he seemed like he was in no rush. Lents shuddered. When he was on Hoth, he could barely stand to be in the cold for a few minutes, much less on the order of days, as it must have been for Rayn. I guess humans are more resilient to cold than omwati, Lents mused, then shrugged. His race's natural resistance to electricity had helped him in his fight against that chiss Sith--even though that shock was also filled with ice. Lents shook his head, his mind was wandering. He needed to go to Ossus. He set the coordinates and sat back in his seat, starting to meditate against his injuries.

Lents bit his lip. In all the chaos at the Sith Temple, he wasn't sure if he had gotten Odottaa's ship codes or not, but he scanned through his datapad and found them stored in its memory. "Phew," he said. He didn't know where Odottaa was now, after the dissolution of the Coruscant Enclave, he could be anywhere. Lents wasn't even sure if he was trustworthy--meaning, he had helped them get to and from the temple, but that could have just been self-interest and -preservation. Lents shrugged. "If Rayn wants to trust him, that's his decision."
Lents forwarded the collected data to the terminal Rayn was communicating from, then punched in the numbers to Ossus on his own dashboard terminal, and hit the autopilot. Stars blurred and he began to move through hyperspace. He had been to Ossus quite often even since he began his journey-- and now that living on Coruscant was no longer an option... was Ossus his new home? It had been the center for the Jedi many hundreds of years ago. "I guess that's where I can direct the other Jedi." How poetic. The old home of the Jedi, where the Jedi would reunite again; and the home of the Jedi that would bring them back together, after he had been displaced from his own home so many times. "Don't get lost in the clouds Lents, you still have a job to do."
