Rayn calmly brought his own blade up and blocked the attack just a hair's breadth from his neck.
"Of course something like that wouldn't work on you," Rayn said with confidence," But the point wasn't to try to turn your own saber against you, the point was simply to touch your lightsaber. Which means I can read your movements much more clearly now. How's that for original?"
With that he brought their weapons down to the left with his blade and spun over them, landing the other side. He then shifted to a back- hand grip and stepped foward, slashing at his neck.

The master stepped back, avoiding the blade, and proceeded to fall back a few more steps.
"Of course, your psychometry," he realized," I stand corrected, that is quite resourceful. However, reading my movements won't help if you can't keep up with my attacks." Then the master came foward, movements like a blur, strafing side to side as he closed in on his opponent. When he came upon his opponent, he quickly feignted an attack to the front, then with the same blinding speed, shot past him, turned and brought his lightsaber to a stop at his neck and shoulder

Rayn let out a sigh," I guess it's over already, though I should have expected as much." Sheathing his blade, he turned and bowed to the master. "Thank you, for giving me the chance to see the skill of a true master."

"The honor was mine young one," he said deactivating his lightsaber and returning the bow, " I'm truly impressed with your swordplay. A lightsaber would have been much easier to handle yet you still held your own with that sword."

"Your words honor me," Rayn sais solemnly," Again, I thank you."
At that moment though Rayn felt a disturbance. He felt something powerful lash out and a familiar presence reeling in pain.
"Lents! ", he realized, "He's in trouble! I've got to find him!"

"I've felt it as well.", said the master,"I will not keep you from seeking Jedi Terria, but know this, his location is far from here and worse his presence is coming from the very center of the Emperor's palace."

At hearing about the emperor's palace Rayn immidiately thought of the red blade that had claimed his master. He found that the anger from that day was seeping into him once more, making his want to go even stronger.
"Don't worry," he said darkly,"I won't be the one who should fear today."
With that Rayn hurried out of the temple and headed toward his docked ship.
