"I fear that here we can only guide you in constructing a functional lightsaber through light side methods," Master Beckoaret apologized. "And frankly, we don't have access to the Sith records that detail how one would construct a lightsaber through the dark side. I am sorry. Now, I must speak to my Padawan. Lents, let me hear about what you have learned while you were away. You may come too," he indicated towards Rayn, then turned to Hurrikaine. "I don't know whether you want to stay with Skeang or not, but the force burns strong in you. You would make a good Jedi, and would always be welcome here, and we can try to find better programming for your body."

"Yes, Master," Lents bowed. "Well you see, I bought a Y-wing with the credits you gave me." He hesitated for a split-second, debating whether to tell master Beckoaret about the mysterious Chiss with the cube he hid on Hoth. The Chiss told him to guard it with his life... he mentally apologized to his master for keeping secrets, but skipped over the cube and his detour to Hoth. "First I travelled to Ossus, to meet the Jedi there, and that was where I met Skeang. I trained for a very short period of time, and the Master with No Name helped me hone my telekinesis." Master Beckoaret laughed. "You always seemed to have trouble moving things about with the force." Lents blushed. "Skeang couldn't get any training there, so we both left Ossus and entered Hutt space, where we assumed bounty hunter personas and went on a bounty to stop some spice-stealing empire-imitating pirates. They were in a Star Deestroyer but Skeang and I were actually able to crash it onto the surface of Ylesia. Knowing I was to receive a substantial bounty for the leader, I abandoned the Y-wing and lifted a hyperspace-modified tri-fighter to go back to Nal Hutta. Once we received the bounty, I borrowed Skeang's half to buy myself a fine ship, which I christened the Illuminant Rush. It's a VT-49 Decimator." Master Beckoaret seemed impressed by this, but Lents also felt guilty for sounding too much like a braggart. "Anyways, after that, we returned to Ossus where the Master with No Name helped me further my telekinesis training. He said I was ready to undertake my first trials, but said that it was your job to give me the rank of knight. So Master," Lents tilted his head pleadingly, "Do you think I am ready for the title of Jedi Knight?" Master Beckoaret waited for one of his characteristic long and tense moments, then responded. "If what you say is true, and I have no reason to think otherwise, then it seems to me that you have passed your trial." "What?" Lents was very confused. "Taking down an entire band of pirates is no small feat, and crippling a Star Destroyer even less so. I merely wish to see a demonstration of your telekinesis, and I will happily grant you the Knight title." Master Beckoaret smiled. Lents felt like he should be happy, but he also felt strangely cheated. The pirates didn't seem like that big of a test to him, they all seemed pretty easy enough to get past, except for their leader. But he was able to defeat the leader anyways, when he was still but a padawan. "Umm, thank you, I guess." "Is there something wrong?" Master Beckoaret eyed Letns inquisitively. "No," Lents cleared his head and smiled broadly. "No, nothing is wrong. In fact, nothing could dampen my joy!" "Were you Human, now would be the time your braid would be cut, but as it stands, we must find another symbolic rite." "Will this work?" Lents moved his hand and his lightsaber flew from his hip, ignited itself, and hovered up dangerously close to his left ear, just barely managing to catch one of the feathers adorning his head. He shut down the bright yellow blade and holstered it, reaching out with his other hand and using the force to catch the feather and make it float up towards Master Beckoaret before it could hit the ground. "Padawan Terria, no, Jedi Terria, I am truly impressed." Master Beckoaret beaemed and Letns returned the smile, but could not shake the feeling that he had undeservedly acquired the title. So after talking to Master Beckoaret a short while longer, he took Skeang aside. "Listen, I have a plan. You need a lightsaber, and I need a true test, so here's what we should do. You go to the Sith in the Emperor's palace and act as one of them. They will help you with your lightsaber. Once it is completed, in however many days, call my comlink, and I will go the the palace, and slay one of the Emperor's Dark Apprentices. That seems like a fair test of knighthood for me, and then we can both hightail it out of there and rendezvous back in the enclave. What do you say?"

Hearing the master's words Hurrikaine had speak up. He said "Now master that is all fine but I owe Skeang a great deal for helping me get the money needed for my new programing. And I don't wish to cause an issue but it seems as though Lents is in dept to the Gen'dai aswell. I believe its only fair for me to get my programing and Lents to get his knighthood here then it seems right for us to help Skeang find a way to build himself a new lightsaber."

Skeang thought about it he detested the idea of associating with the dark side again but he had no other choice. He told Lents "your idea seems crazy but I think it could work just point me where i need to go and i will let you know as soon as my new saber i could even pick out an opponent for you."

"The Emperor's palace is the largest building on Coruscant, but it's on the other side of the planet, to be as far as possible from the enclave. So almost exactly 180 degrees around, you should find it. Just go in and introduce yourself as a dark sider and offer your services to the Emperor, and one of his peons should let you into the Sith ranks. Just be careful of what you think, because there may be some telepaths in his service." Lents nodded, then turned. "Give me a call when your lightsaber is built. Should be," he shrugged, "Maybe a week or two. Seeya 'round."

Skeang rushed off toward the other side of the planet telling Lents he would keep in touch. (imma make a new thread)

Lents had waited several days for Skeang's comlink call, but new what the two were doing was a delicate line that had to be walked over with caution. Patience was one thing a jedi learned, and Patient Lents had to be while Skeang scoped out the Sith palace. He just hoped that he found an opponent suitable to his level. Lents knew that Skeang would have no trouble finding a powerful sith, but there were also the apprentice sith who could be defeated by a youngling.

Odottaa finally found the hangars he was looking for. they were pretty inconspicuous, or at least as much as they could be on this city-planet. He landed and payed a not-quite-as-hefty-as-before docking fee, and began wandering around, looking for the VT-49 decimator.

After Lents had left Rayn confronted one of the masters and asked him what the Coruscant enclave specialized in teaching . Rayn had learned that they focused on stealth and lightsaber techniques. Not wanting to disturb any of the masters just yet, Rayn went to the enclve archives to do some research on lightsaber techniques.
"Wow. Lightsabers..", Rayn said to himself. " The ledgendary weapon of the Jedi ...and the Sith. I never imagined I would ever get to train with such a weapon."
Once he arrived at the archives he began his research. In his studies he learned about the lightsaber forms, basic construction of a lightsaber, types and styles of lightsabers, crystals, etc..
After several hours of studying Rayn took a break and leaned back in his chair. Blue, green, purple, red, orange, yellow... that was the order of planets that his master had wanted him to visit. Coruscant was blue. " Very wise of you master, have me understand the Jedi by going first to learn about their way of combat." It was his way as it had been his master's way. And in thinking of this Rayn was filled with a renewed sense of purpose. He got up from his chair and walked out of the room, ready to find someone to begin teaching him the forms firsthand.

He found the ship that he was looking for and began to look around it for a way in. If his plan worked out, he would just replace something minor in his ship with this, or he would hide it in the engine somewhere. If this kid was who he thought he was, he wouldn't know his sublight engines from his hyperdrive and wouldnt even know it was there. He found the door and began slicing it to unlock it.

Lents was getting bored and restless, despite his Jedi patience. He needed to know what Skeang was up to, but couldn't risk calling him on his comlink. Lents also couldn't just walk into the Sith temple and ask how Skeang was doing. He spent some time honing his telekinesis skills with Master Beckoaret but couldn't focus as much as he'd like. He hated keeping this secret from Master Beckoaret but knew that the Master wouldn't approve were he to know about Lents' plan. One day, Lents decided to take a trip around Coruscant and see some of the attractions he had heard about but never had the opportunity to visit. He heard great things about a couple of restaurants, a museum, and if he was feeling dangerous, just might wander the lower city for a while. He knew there was danger there but nothing even a padawan with half-decent training couldn't handle. He covertly left the enclave to avoid being spotted by anyone with any potentially suspicious motives, and walked along the streets and suspended walkways of the city until he found the place where the scant ships belonging to the Jedi and other enclave visitors were parked. He walked at an intercept trajectory with his Decimator, but saw something brown and heavy-looking from underneath the support feet of the ship. He hurried around its moderately pointed prow and was startled to see a chevin at the Decimator's entry hatch on the belly of the vessel. "Hey!" Lents said loudly, enough to get the chevin's attention, but not so loud that he was shouting. He tried to put an intimidating edge in his voice, and also shifted his belt so that the chevin wouldn't see his lightsaber. "What do you think you're doing?"

Odottaa decided it would be better if he didnt reveal his true intentions and the depth of his mission, so he came up with a textbook bluff.
Trying to steal this ship, what does it look like? Now back off and pretend you didn't see anything!
He withdrew his bowcaster and aimed it at this stranger.

Lents narrowed his eyes, although inside he definitely was not used to being on the business end of a bowcaster. "That's my vessel and would that you not try to steal it. Why don't you make yourself useful and go steal something from the Emperor? Lents nodded his head, trying to be self-confident, but inside froze when he realized that he expressed his anti-imperial sentiments out loud. He didn't know who this guy was, and that could have been the exact wrong thing to say.

Odottaa snorted at his words, but after a second realized he wasn't joking. This is YOUR ship? You are only, what, 13? Why don't you just go steal from the emperor yourself, if you hate him so much instead of making me do all the dirty work for you?I could care less what happens to either the Jedi, or the sith, as long as they both exist, it's excellent for business. And since this is your ship, that means you have the access codes to get in it. Hand them over!

Lents raised an eyebrow. "Are you really in a position to demand that of me? Do you know what I can do?" He hoped that he conveyed enough confidence in his abilities, even though his words were slightly more so than he actually felt.

"Well, you are an omwatti. you have fragile bones, you look about thirteen years old, you look like your in pretty good shape compared to most people, but you are also over confident and self righteous, all you rebellion type are, and always have been. I don't see any weapons, unless it some tiny, insignificant hand blaster, which pales in comparison to my bowcaster. I, on the other hand, have a bowcaster, three times your body weight, and the agility to use it, thick, heavy bones, and other easily concealable weapons under my LARGE HEAVY cloak. I think you are a bit out matched here.

Lents decided to finally reveal his lightsaber, but he caught himself before bringing it out and igniting it. He realized that he could sneak around the chevin's back, and have an advantage. Lents raised his hands, palms out, to try to keep the chevin from firing the bowcaster for as long as possible, while also using it as a focus to telekinetically detach his lightsaber from the back of his belt and push it around behind him so it floated around the nose of the Illuminant Rush, underneath the starboard wing, and behind the chevin's back. He turned it so the blade faced up, and prepared to light the blade at an instant's notice. "Your problem," Lents stalled, "is that you only focus on what you can see, but there's a whole world of the unseen that can outmatch the physical any day." He waited to see what the chevin would say or do before revealing his ace.

Odottaa felt a slight tingling sensation, like something that wasnt physical was happening, but ignored it, as he had no knowledge of the force and its mysteries.
"Oh, and let me guess, useless idealism, and happy thoughts of baby felinxes is going to save the galaxy better than a high powered blaster in your hand. You may not be able to do anything about it, but at least you took the moral high ground, and thats what counts. I'm done talking.
He turned and pressed a few buttons while keeping his gun aimed at the kid, and the door opened. He wasn't the best smuggler because he wanted to be, he went out and earned it for himself.

"Hey!," Lents shouted, "Don't take another step!" He flicked his wrist and the lightsaber behind the chevin's back ignited its brilliant shining yellow blade with the familiar snap-hiss. "You set foot inside the Illuminant Rush and I'll sever your legs!"

odottaa heard the snap-hiss of a lightsaber and instinctively drew his vibroblade, held with the blade backwards, rather than standard. It gave him much better defensive capabilities. When he saw the floating blade, however, he jumped back a good five feet from surprise. Cursing himself, as he gave up a good defensive position near the entrance of the ship, he turned to his opponent and laughed.
"It all makes sense now. Your a jedi. Thats how you got this ship, high expectations, and hopeless idealism. That would also explain a few other things, but none that you need to be concerned about. Tell me, what is your name?
