Full name: Kaziki Halcyon (a.k.a. Kaziki Horn, Kaziki Terrik)

History: When it came to hiding Jedi from the forces that sought to destroy them, a man named Rostek Horn turned out to be something of a savant. His talent turned to hard earned skill, which he perfected into a variety of techniques and methods that his step-grand-daughter-in-law (long story) found and preserved as his legacy. That legacy would allow countless Jedi over several generations to survive dozens of organized attempts to wipe them from the galaxy forever. Passed down from one non-Force Sensitive descendent after another, entrusted to protect their Jedi loved ones from generation to generation, this legacy was added to and improved upon.
Some four hundred years later, the legacy of Rostek Horn culminated in the birth of a child, in hiding on Corellia, to one of the few remaining Jedi lineages. The Force welcomed Kaziki Halcyon into the light and the child was raised both in the public eye as heir to the Horn estates and behind closed doors as the heir to the long and noble Corellian Jedi tradition. The Halcyon family never lost track of the many Jedi they helped to safety, and when the call to arms began to cycle through the various hidden camps of the Order the Halcyons began their own preparations for rejoining the good fight. Including recalling allies and even removing an old family heirloom or two from storage...
Still, caution has ruled the manor so far causing the Halcyons to remain largely quiet as they've taken in the events that have unfolded at the beginning of the new resurgence of the Jedi Order. The family is wary of leaping headlong into an organization that might not have a compatible view of the galaxy even if it shares the same moral imperatives, as the Corellian Jedi and the Order at large have disagreed philosophically and politically before.
Personality: Kaz has an analytical mind armor plated by an outwardly happy go lucky personality. Almost always happy, friendly, and assuming, Kaz has been known to even engage his rivals in friendly conversation. This habit has turned enemies into friends, much to his advantage, but doesn't rub everyone the same way. In fact, in combat true or simple sparring, he has been able to use social skills to frustrate his opponents into making critical mistakes. The skill, one he is fond of using, could be argued as a form of Dun Möch though he would never personally use such a term.
Kaz likes people. Crowds, particularly those filled with complete strangers, make him feel right at home. Conversations, debates, even outright arguments are his bread and butter and will be approached with enthusiasm. His ability to turn an opponents words against them have lead to both enlightenment and rage on the part of his opposites. What he finds disappointing are those who use force and violence to get their way heedless of others. Playing "Emperor's Advocate" is a natural outgrowth of these personal tastes as he strives to make sure others know why they are taking the actions they choose to take.
Physical Description: Kaziki Halcyon is tall and lithe at 6'0" and 203lbs, possessed of grace like a practiced noble or dancer... or duelist. As common for a Corellian he has dark hair and naturally tanned skin, though his eyes are a unique shade of dark green. His frame is covered in hard, wiry muscle that is carefully maintained to preserve strength and speed, avoiding bulk. His refined looks are largely considered attractive, though not overly so, and Kaz can often be found with a variety of smiles gracing his features.
Initial path: Unapologetic adherent of the Unifying Force philosophy, so functionally 'Light Side'.
Lightsaber Form / Other Fighting style: Makashi (Form II) as it appeals to his noble sensibilities, including a two weapon variation for certain circumstances. He has pursued some secondary study in the Shien variation of Form V, to cover some of the weaknesses of Makashi. When a lightsaber isn't appropriate to the situation Kaz is a fairly talented pugilist, finding the footwork and deflection aspects transfer well to and from his primary lightsaber form.
Possessions: Primary Lightsaber (curved hilt, waterproofed, dualphase, white blade), Secondary Lightsaber (ergonomic hilt, waterproofed, dualphase shoto, white blade), high quality Jedi Uniform, Utility Belt (complete with survival rations, aquabreather, high end medkit, and electrobinoculars), bracer mounted Datapad with integrated comm-unit, credsticks, his master's Jedi Credit, personal Jedi Credits, and (Admin Approved Materials).

On a side note, Kaziki Halcyon, like all Halcyons, is completely incapable of any form of Telekinesis without first absorbing energy from an outside source, a dangerous practice at the best of times. Efforts after said absorption are clumsy and short lived.
