Ossus is a major academy for padawans and apprentices. It is hidden from sight by a dense forest canopy; the masters here specialize in telekinesis and other offensive force abilities. The Nameless Master, a male cerean, is the head of the enclave. His second-in-command is a male twi'lek named Master Nical.
This thread includes general training on Ossus that doesn't fit in anywhere else, or if it's out of place in another thread in the Ossus board.

Lents' VT-49 Decimator, the Illuminant Rush, exited hyperspace in the system near Ossus. "Welcome back, Lents," he said as the ship propelled itself towards the overgrown forest canopy where he knew the Enclave lay.

He hailed the control center of the Enclave first, signaling his approach so they wouldn't accidentally take him for an enemy--Lents didn't know anyone else with a VT-49 Decimator, but it was an imperial-style ship, so he took the safe route than the hasty one.
Soon he received a message.
"Excellent," Lents said. He would finally get to see his Master, feeling like a true Jedi--for once.

ooc: okay, here's the big post I've been meaning to write
Lents slid the 'Rush through the heavy tree canopy in the middle of the vast overgrown forest, and wound his way through the (just barely wide enough) tunnel to the Enclave's docking space. As the ship touched down, he could see both Master Beckoaret and the Nameless Master out the viewport. He waved, and saw the Nameless Master nod his head in return. He powered down the 'Rush and walked down the loading ramp. "Master Beckoaret! Master without Name!" Master Beckoaret opened his arms wide, and Lents hugged him tightly. It felt good to be in arms so secure and strong. Despite all he had done, Lents was still only nineteen, and Master Beckoaret had been like a father to him in his years of growing up. In an instant, it was over, and Lents regained the poise of the Jedi Knight he now knew himself to be. "So what has happened in my absence? How did the relocation go?" Lents held his lead low. This was still all his fault, even though the Jedi hadn't suffered considerable personnel losses. They still lost a strong foothold which would have been the ideal place from which to springboard an attack on the Empire. "Everything is fine here," the Nameless Master responded. "We haven't had any hiccups since we've received our portion of the Corustantii refugees." "We had heard some bad news from Kashyyyk, though," Master Beckoaret interjected. Lents' face flushed. "What?" Master Beckoaret held his hand up gently, palm down. "Calm down Lents, it's not too bad. Apparently the Empire had followed some of our ships to the Enclave there--" Lents gulped. "And they had actually begun a ground invasion, but the combination of the location of the enclave that near the Kashyyyk ground level and some Imperial infighting meant the invasion was a failure. So Kashyyyk is safe... for now." Lents sighed. That was nowhere near desirable, but it could be worse. "But there are more pressing matters at hand, I believe." "Yes, your knighthood. Tell us about what happened with you and Skeang. "I do notice that Skeang nor Sarvina nor Hurrikaine are with you." "It was mostly a success." The Nameless Master raised an eyebrow. "Mostly?" "We first went to the Planetary Traffic Control Tower on Coruscant to find the flight coordinates of Hurrikaine's ship, and were able to do that... Hurrikaine's coordinates led straight into the Maw, following a hyperspace route through the black holes that still worked--thank the Force. At the Imperial Research facility there, we found Hurrikaine and Sarvina in the capture of a genetic scientist called the Shaper. Lents gulped. "Masters, he had managed to create voxyns." There was silence. "A-and he was a very powerful Sith. As powerful if not more so than the chiss." "What foes..." "This does not spell good fortune for the Jedi. What did you do?" "I had gotten separated from Skeang, and ran into three of his voxyns. I fought them off as best I could, killing two before Skeang came and helped me--at that point I was pretty badly hurt. Skeang had found Hurrikaine but he had entered into some sort of deal with the Shaper. The Shaper had changed his droid body, and so we couldn't rescue him without worse consequences than we wanted to face." "So you slew two voxyns? And survived a third?" "Y-yeah..." The Nameless Master and Master Beckoaret exchanged a glance and a nod. "So the shaper showed up with Sarvina in tow, as another sort of genetic experiment. Our combined strength was barely enough to hold him off long enough for Skeang to collapse the ceiling and grab Sarvina and get out of there. We left, and he went to find his own master and train with her, while I came here to Ossus." There was a long pause, and the Nameless Master put his hand on Master Beckoaret's shoulder. "Thank you for that Lents--no, Jedi Terria. Your continued tales only strengthen my faith in your potential, and I think you have finally demonstrated the courage, wisdom, and power required to wear the title of Jedi Knight." "Th-thank you so much Master Beckoaret." Lents kneeled before the two masters. "I agree I was premature in handing you the title earlier, especially in light of subsequent events. But at this time I cannot think of a better choice. Welcome to the Order."

Lents had spent many days resting and recuperating in the enclave, conversing alternately with Master Beckoaret and the Nameless Master, oftentimes both. Of many things they talked, but primarily the discussion was in regards to Lents' mission and the changes in the galaxy-wide Force that they had sensed in the past weeks. Lents' encounter at the Emperor's Palace had set many future events in motion, some immediately at hand, others in the unforeseeably-distant future. But the Force had been shaken by the things that had happened, and major changes were on the way. The Empire hadn't released any news on the subject at all over the Holonet, and so most inhabitants of the Galaxy were completely unaware of what was happening to the living Force that was all around them--but the Jedi and Sith both, as well as all the many other cults of the Force in the galaxy, had sensed the shift, the catalyst for what was to come. The Jedi needed to reassemble, they all finally agreed, and it was decided that Jedi Knight Lents was to travel with Master Beckoaret to the enclaves around the galaxy and redirect them to Ossus. As the planet had been the center of the Jedi Archive for many thousands of years before, it still resonated with an echo of the powerful light side concentration, much in the same manner Korriban resonated with the dark side. This would provide a suitable cover for the massive influx of Jedi, and hopefully, the Empire would merely attribute it to the chaotic imbalance of the Force. But as a cover, a handful of the most powerful Jedi in the camps would go to various other planets and do their best to unbalance the Force there as well, to mask the Ossus shift. "Then it is settled," the Nameless Master said. "I will stay here and instruct these Jedi in what is to come, and prepare them physically and mentally. "Jedi Terria and I will travel first to Dantooine, then to other enclaves as required, and redirect them to here." Lents said nothing. In a sense, everything was happening because of him, and a monstrously heavy burden of guilt and responsibility lay on his shoulders. "Are you ready, Lents?" Lents nodded. "Then let us take the Illuminant Rush and be off. Master without Name, may the Force be with you." "I wish you good luck and fortune on your journey, Master Beckoaret and Jedi Terria, and may the Force be with you also." And with that, Lents and Master Beckoaret loaded up the prepared supplies and the 'Rush flew up out of the Ossus atmosphere.
