jeluvitas left dxun and came to this desolate planet to complete his ultimate weapon, and his legacy, before he confronted the emperor. the crystals on this planet were rumored to be semi sentient. that combined with the heart of fire inside of his hand would modify his holocron, allowing him to retain not just knowledge, but part of his very essence inside of it. it would be very similar to the technique used to possess anothers body, the one darth sidious became famous for, but instead of an organic body, it would be a crystal body, one that would never age, wither, or die. true immortality to influence the sith order until the end of time. however, this holocron would serve two purposes, and would only function after jeluvitas had died. until then, it would be his ultimate triumph, a devise to focus his power into, and create a weapon like nothing else. he was done here. it was time to leave this place. the planet's balance was to volatile to try to craft anything here. it was time to return to koribann, to use its dark energies to help him focus on his craft.

after over a day of intense focus and channeling, the holocron was nearly complete. the design was ingenious. a heart of fire for the core would enable him to store more genuine memories, instead of just information like one would store on a datapad. then he used the tsils as the matrices and connective circuits, allowing him to leave a real live presence inside of the datapad. in the event of his death, he could possess the holocron like sidious did to his many clones. this meant that he could continue to teach and shape the sith order no matter what happened. as long as there were people willing to grasp the power and use it to strengthen the sith, he would teach. no one in the known order, past or present, knew as much about the art of energy redirection as he did. the hand was designed to be able to trap any form of energy and use it to power itself. it was also designed in such a way that no energy could leave it, unless the user willed it to darth jeluvitas himself could not drain this artifact if it was turned against him. however, this could be a double edged sword. in the event of his death, he would pour his essence into the hand, preserving his mind and spirit for all of eternity. however, he would no longer command the weapon aspect of this holocron if he did that. he would forever be a teacher, unable to affect the real world. the final design he put into this hand, it was virtually indestructible. any energy weaponized against it would be absorbed, and should it overload, it would just activate and rerelease it. you could throw this into a sun, and it would not be destroyed. it would survive, feeding off of the suns energy until it the energy build up was enough to blow up the sun. it would take hundreds of years to accomplish, but time was something he would have plenty of. the only way to physically destroy it was with brute force, and even then, with the living crystal design, it could regrow and heal its wounds given time. much like the starforge maps of old. however, the weapon itself was only as powerful as the one who held it. it could only amplify given force power, not provide it for free. it was not a reservoir of power for any fool to stumble across and use. it would only give power to the user proportional to the amount of power it was given. this was the product of his research into crystals, energy manipulation, and raw power of the force, and it was a masterpiece.
he was ready to confront the emperor.
