Skeang watched over the land that for the most part he had settled. The idea of leadership nearly drove him mad but it had been thrust upon him and he knew he had to set an example. For all the current unrest Skeang found himself reasonably well off. The area that they had found was peaceful enough to teach sith how to control themselves. Also even if the neo-jedi as a whole weren't accepted by the jedi, Skeang found himself in good standings with many of the enclaves across the universe. The darkness and hate inside him had not subdued but Skeang had followed his still mysterious master's teachings and learned to focus that rather then let it dictate everything he did.
With Skeang's exceptional hearing nothing was ever silent, but it was indeed a quiet day at the Dantooine Neo-jedi encampment, that was until he heard the all so familiar sound of recruits fighting.

In the clearing of the encampment a male Zabrak with pointed teeth and long dark hair was loudly cursing and kicking at a Rodian who lay on the ground before him. When he seemed satisfied with the Rodian's whimpering he ceased and straightened himself before the crowd that had gathered. "Comrades! Too long have we let ourselves be reduced to this sorry state of existence! We left the Sith to be free of our pompous overlords- to be free to do what we please and take what we want! That is what we thought would happen when we joined Skeang. But we have done NOTHING! We have been forced to sit and wallow in the mud with these pathetic lightsiders." He pointed toward a group of several beings who were gathered around their Rodian companion. Looks of either worry or anger on their faces. The Zabrak spoke again, "I ask of all of you who were once my brothers- join me! Together we are more powerful than that putrid, walking sack of meat! What say you?"
The former Sith looked at each other undecided. Some were concerned. Some looked to the Jedi with pity. Others gave shouts of agreement. But all noise stopped suddenly and all eyes turned suddenly past the Zabrak. "What? What is it?!" he demanded.

Skeang witnessed the fight, and was absolutely livid over it. He knew however that to be an example for the neo-jedi he needed to control or at least hide his anger until the proper time. The crowd of youths had there eyes fixed upon him as he walked toward the Zabrak. "Your violence merely comes from impatience and boredom. It is immature and will not be tolerated here." Skeang removed his cloak, and heard the faint gasps as his scarred, muscles moved still closer to the Zabrak. "This putrid meat tells a story young whelp, it has felt the blade of the sith upon it for centuries. It was broken down by the dark side before any of you had even been born." Skeang quickly approached the Zabrak. Standing within feet of him he spoke again. "You had best not attack our comrades. For if we are ever to make a noticeable strike against the pompous overlords you speak of, we must bolster our forces and keep our allies close. The Jedi are our closest allies and our infighting and impulsiveness weaken that alliance." Skeang stood over the Zabrak, arms crossed, his considerable size casting an enormous shadow. "If you wish to leave feel free but do not encourage the dissent those of us who actually want to destroy the sith and the empire. If you think you can manage this lot better than I, or if you just wish to work off your impatience, fight me now."

The Zabrak's face contorted away and those around him backed away as he suddenly swelled up with Dark-side energies. The Zabrak gave a loud, angry shout, drew his Lightsaber, and charged at Skeang, attempting to thrust at him.

Skeang secretly had hoped the Zabrak would attack him. Skeang dodged the attack with relative ease, moving to the left of the strike then aiming a powerful punch at his chest. Skeang also used his free hand to reach for his large hammer that was strapped to his back. It had been constructed for him out of scrap metal from the construction of the camp and he had yet to get a chance to use it.

The Zabrak stopped quickly in surprise and pivoted while batting at Skeang's arm with his lightsaber. Nearly losing his footing in the process.

Skeang allowed the Zabrak's lightsaber to singe his fingers, the damage. As his fingers regrew he retracted his arm grabbing the head of his hammer with one hand and the other at the handle. Skeang empowered the whole hammer with his force weapon ability. Then using the strength of both arms forced the weapon forward aiming to check the Zabrak with the shaft of the hammer. He knew hitting him with the head of the hammer would kill him and this would merely send him flying.

The Zabrak took the impact of the blow directly to his diaphragm. His eyes bulged slightly and all the air left his lungs as he was knocked back several yards. He lay writhing on the ground while simultaneously gasping for air, clutching broken ribs, and trying not to black out from the concussion he received upon hitting the ground.

Skeang walked over to the fallen Zabrak who was now laying close to the other neo-jedi he had been fighting before Skeang had intervened. He spoke directly to the Zabrak. "I hope that will sate your desire to cause trouble in our ranks. Gathering you crowd is dangerous very difficult." He stood tall shouting to the crowd, placing the hammer against his back again. "If we learn to control our power and the rage that the dark side fuels in us, we can stand united and eliminate the sith, and the empire." Skeang motioned for people to help the two injured neo-jedi, he knew this infighting was far too common, but his contentions with them would be put on hold, for as soon as he had left the crowd he received a message from an informant.

"Master Skeang, big trouble over here on Bothui. Some Jedi went postal and the Bothans are pissed. I saw the attack and something feels strange about it, send someone over if you can." Was the message delivered to Skeang from a very excited Sarvina. "Send me! Send me! Shouted the Zeltron "I haven't gotten to leave this boring camp in forever! And you know I have a way of getting information."

Skeang began to walk toward his ship as quickly as he could, the idea of a jedi simply killing random people on a planet with no strong alliances seemed fishy for sure. "We both need a break from the camp Sarvina, surprisingly enough you have become one of the least infuriating people here." Skeang loaded up his ship, and left the camp to one of the more trustworthy neo-jedi. Taking off for Bothui as quickly as possible.

[ coming in from 550aby.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=hutta&action=display&thread=279&page=1 ] The Illuminant Rush entered Dantooine's atmosphere and Lents thought about how there used to be a relatively strong Jedi presence hidden away in the enclave. They had all moved to Ossus though after the Coruscant enclave was destroyed. It was good, however, that the neo-Jedi were stationed here. As long as the planet and its abundant natural resources were in the hands of anti-Imperials, Lents didn't much care who had the strongest presence. When approaching from space, he had insisted the Klatooinian, Undraka, stay in the passenger hold where he couldn't see which planet they were approaching. If--somehow--negotiations turned sour, Lents didn't want the considerable might and influence of Hurri the Hutt to know where the main home of the neo-Jedi were stationed. He had already destroyed a Jedi home once, and still hadn't forgiven himself for single-handedly igniting the fuel canister of this latest Jedi/Sith war.

Skeang listened inside the enclave as the ship came closer to landing hearing Sarvina barking orders left and right at the neo-jedi "Anyone who acts out while we are being inspected gets a week tied to the thorniest side of a Blba tree, assuming Skeang doesn't rip you apart!" As the ship came to a stop Skeang was hoping to see some semblance of order in his camp. Letting Stog out of the passenger hold Skeang made sure he was the first to exit. To his surprise the camp was not in terrible shape. Sarvina stood with two large neo-jedi near the front of the camp to welcome them. Skeang spoke to Stog, "This is our enclave, where we shelter and train those who defect from the empire. You will find that our warriors are among the most capable in the galaxy." Sarvina and her guards walked toward them in what was easily the least revealing clothing he had ever seen her in. She spoke to the three of them, "Masters Skeang, and Eth, you will find the camp in order and with several missions ongoing." Skeang nodded "This is Sarvina our tactical advisor. It is her job to organize the missions that our troops work in." The group continued to walk through the camp as Skeang explained there operation to Stog, "We are willing to take any job to keep this place running but the bulk of our work is covert against the empire. We have agents placed in a number of there enclaves to recruit for us. But our talents include assassins, bounty hunting, and in plain old battle we can be a boon to any force. Including the Hutts should your report to Hurri be favorable." Just then a young neo-jedi came barreling out of one of the nearby huts nearly running into the whole group, Skeang had to hold in the urge to do something and watched as Sarvina's guard "escorted" him away from the group. Returning to his speech to Stog he continued, "Currently secrecy is one of our biggest priorities due to most of the people here having defected from the empire. So the Hutts abilities to transport things undetected would be an invaluable service to our troops."

Undraka Stog looked down his snout at the force-users before him. To their credit, they looked very capable, and like just the kind of folk that Hurri would normally employ. A lot of them were former imperials though--although the likelihood of this being one big imperialist ruse was unlikely. Still, he could never be too sure, or too trusting. Hurri didn't build his empire by trusting every whelp that asked for his favor. "The camp itself is... not very impressive, but your people look strong enough to not bog down Hurri's agents if it comes down to fighting. How many of you did you say there were? Is this your entire army?"

Skeang stopped to choose his words carefully, or as carefully as he could. "Well we have at least a few missions going on we have about..." Sarvina jumped in to say, "Roughly one fourth of our troops are out doing various missions currently and we are constantly recruiting more to our cause." Skeang felt relieved Sarvina had really saved him at that point, he continued "Also we are often working with the jedi who bolster our numbers in missions that require more people than we can spare. Plus even our weaker members can overpower two or three soldiers with little trouble. The records of our bounties that I'm sure are kept somewhere can attest to our abilities."

"You've heard of the legendary power of the Jedi and the Sith, well our people are just as powerful as them, and we have a small army at our side." Lents watched the klatooinian's face for any hint of how their words were affecting his decision. "Were you around three years ago? There were pirates posing as Imperial troops terrorizing one of Hurri's trade routes. They commanded an entire fully-manned Imperial-I class Star Destroyer, and we were able to bring the entire thing down, just the two of us." Lents gestured at himself and Skeang.
"I don't doubt your power and strength--it's your loyalty to Hurri that would make me advise against joining you. Other anti-imperials have killed influential hutts before. Need I remind you of the untimely demise of Jabba Tiure? I would worry that you might use your powers and Hurri's potential trust against him."
"That's why we've been helpi him out recently though--for example, bringing Caroon to his justice. Why would we strengthen someone we intended to betray?" Lents looked to Skeang for help.

"The compound you see before you was built from Hutt money, from various bounties that my men have taken. If we did something to betray the Hutts we would cut off more than allies but our source of income as well. This arrangement I am proposing is to merely formalize our two groups. So we can count on the Hutts for what we need, and they can count on us as an effective group of fighters for whatever they may need." Skeang wasn't much of a negotiator but he knew the entire compound was built with the earnings from various bounties his men had taken. And that should be proof enough of loyalty to get this arrangement set up. However this creature was skeptical and Skeang was not sure how to persuade people with ways other than force.

Undraka nodded slowly. "I will concede you make a strong point Skeang, and Eth. I won't say that I fully trust you or your neo-Jedi yet, but there's nothing that I've seen here that would automatically make me advise against you." He pulled out his commpad and typed a quick message to Hurri. "Don't think this means we're friends--you guys and me or you guys or Hurri. I've been Hurri's right-hand humanoid since you were still being nursed, or hatched, or--" he glanced at Skeang "--whatever. This just means that you are not obviously an enemy to Hurri's interests."

Lents breathed a sigh of relief. That was better than he had expected. "Thank you, Undraka. We promise Hurri won't regret this." Undraka looked up from the commpad and glared at him. "..if he decides to do go through with this, of course. If you need anything here, feel free to ask any of us," he gestured at himself, Skeang, and Sarvina "for anything." After the three showered him with more thanks and flattery, Lents turned to Skeang, whispering. "So what now?" Have you heard any news of the aftermath on Bothawui? Are people searching for the firrerreo? Now that it's not out of the question to assume we have the might of the hutts at our back, what's our game plan?"
"You," Undraka pointed at Sarvina, "I would like some stimcaf if you have any in this camp, and a place to rest before being taken back to lord Hurri's palace." Sarvina suppressed a furious look at being talked down to by this fur-brained nobody. She knew they needed to stay on his good side. "Right this way, follow me."
"I haven't talked to the Jedi since finishing up the clean-up mission on Ossus, so I don't know what their--" Lents looked at Undraka as he walked out of earshot. "our next course of action is. Needless to say, our two plans should sync up somewhat." He interlaced his fingers, like teeth on two gears.

Skeang felt a wave of relief upon them being checked off, of course attempting not to show it until Hurri's man had left with Sarvina, "For now the hutts will aid in keeping my compound secret and keeping the movement of my men secret, if the empire found this place we would be wiped off the map in no time. The firrerreo making enemies for the jedi is my major concern but, I have a theory about him. He may very well not be directly connected to the empire or the sith at all. I have to assume this because when I arrived on Bothuwai I was attacked by a sith being escorted through the wreckage by imperial troops. She seemed to know as little as I did about what had happened." Skeang led Lents into his command station, a structure that while still being as modest as the rest of the camp was slightly larger to fit him. Skeang began flipping through the logs that Sarvina kept of neo-jedi who were sent out after the attack on Bothuwai. He found the group that Sarvina must have been talking about when she messaged him earlier. He explained to Lents, "Sarvina sent out groups to track down or at least get information on the firrerreo all of which came back with little to no useful leads. Except one sent toward the colonies, who we have unfortunately lost all contact with. The information Sarvina keeps says they were checking on a potential lead on Fondor when we abruptly lost contact. I can't promise they found anything but its the only lead I have right now."
