Good Evening Imperial Citizens. As some of you may know the Imperial Navy occupied the Planet of Kashyyyk some weeks ago in order to flush out a Jedi terrorist cell that had apparently been given refuge somewhere on the forest world.
Many have been concerned about the success and necessity of further occupation on this planet after the failure of ground squadrons to apprehend the Jedi.
One of the many mishaps included a supposed military coup on-board one of the Imperial cruisers in orbit above Kashyyyk carried out by now former Captain Jack Starbuck. According to reports Starbuck was given orders by Admiral Yularen. Starbuck, led his recon team, the Gloomwalkers, along with a know Jedi Terrorist, on a rampage across the ship before fleeing and returning here to Coruscant.
Starbuck claims that his actions were in order to usurp authority from his commanding officer due to his failure of protocol as well as emotional compromise. The details however have yet to be disclosed. The fate of Starbuck has not been disclosed to the public, but it has been confirmed that he will not be executed. As for the Admiral, it seems he has been given a simply suspension of duty for his involvement in the case.
