CHILDHOOD:
Ophelia grew up in the lap of luxury in a large estate close to the galaxy-renowned Gold Beaches between Coronet and Tyrena. She lived with her parents and younger sister, Lana, whom she resented and spent her time incessantly torturing. Ophelia used the girl for her personal amusement, teasing and tricking her until she cried. When they were older, she used this form of abasement in front of her friends until they were all laughing at the powerless little girl’s demise. Their mother and father were constantly busy entertaining commanding officers and other high-end leaders of the Empire in an attempt to show their loyalty to the Emperor. They heartily favored Ophelia over her sister because they believed Lana to be weakhearted and a dishonor to the Solaris name. Therefore, they allowed this behavior to continue so that all would see that they would not even allow one of their own to jeopardize their family’s prestige. Years went by and Ophelia began to romance high-ranked officers, usually because they had something she wanted such as a family heirloom or some other trinket of value, using them for her own amusement and then throwing them away as soon as she possessed what she wanted. None dared to deny her for fear her parents would tell their commanding officers. After seeing her sister turn down her fourth proposal, Lana had had enough. She was not allowed to have the freedom her sister did so she finally stood up to the elder girl. But this was a grave mistake. So angered by her sister’s treachery, Ophelia went into a rage, emanating a powerful energy. Feeling this energy in her fingertips, she reached out to her sister who stood several feet away and released all of her anger from her hand. To her amazement, Lana suddenly crippled over, her body contorting in pain. Her hands clutched at her chest and she looked up at the angered woman with such forgiveness before dying. Her parents publicly blamed the death of their daughter on an unknown vigilante who they claimed had broken into their estate in an attempt to murder their family for their wealth. Not long after, an aide of the Emperor appeared at their estate, informing them that their daughter was wanted to train and serve for the Empire. Encouraged by their daughter’s newfound powers, Ophelia’s parents agreed to allow her to start training as a Sith apprentice to hone her skills and one day become a powerful Sith Lord working at the Emperor’s right hand.Here is the flashback thread that fleshes out her history even more.
ADULTHOOD: She began training at the age of 20. At 23, she left training on Korriban to learn Sith sorcery on Tund.

PERSONALITY:Not one to be trifled with, Ophelia is slow to kindness and quick to anger. She generally knows how to get her way, using her powers to manipulate people into doing exactly what she wants. However, whenever she cannot accomplish this feat, she can become very destructive in her anger due to the nature of her powers. She is very devoted to the Empire and would do just about anything the Emperor asks of her, especially if it means gaining power. In addition to her already subversive nature, she dislikes many alien races and even some near-humans, believing pure-blooded humans to be the dominant race.She loves a man in uniform, especially if he is high ranked.Her lust for power is constantly on her mind which can sometimes lead to the contrary effect, making her momentarily weak.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: 5’3”, long white-blonde hair, icy blue eyes, fair skinned. [x]
INITIAL PATH: Dark side.
LIGHTSABER FIGHTING STYLE: Does not prefer fighting with lightsabers, but will carry one in case of an emergency.
POSSESSIONS:Limited by constant travel and training as the Emperor's aid, Ophelia only owns the clothes on her back (a black leather body suit and hooded cape) and a lightsaber she is not very competent in using—in fact, she hardly ever uses. The one possession she will not go anywhere without is a necklace set with a Krayt Dragon pearl that is almost 2.5 inches in diameter. This necklace has been in the Solaris family for generations as a sign of power and wealth and was given to her just before she began training. The pearl itself is a brilliant green that seems to emanate a sinister red aura.
POWERS:Her powers are erratic, and mostly only emerge under extreme frustration and anger. However, she has been trained to use mental Force powers even when calm and grows ever stronger in the ability to delve into people’s minds to find their weakness and use it to her advantage.
She is now versed in the sorcery of Illusions, first tapping into her opponent's brain to find what they fear most, then causing it to materialize in a realistic projection before them. She can also appear to harness shadows to form them into an attack.
