"Hey... Lori, wake up." Stella shook Lori's arm a little hard to still her friend awake. "Your in Worlport like you asked." Lori's eyes scrunched together as she grumbled in annoyance to the wake up call. They had been heading to this planet for about two days (((too short?))) and she was glad to finally be there. Her arms streached over her ears and popped her back a bit. Lori grasped the handle on the ships door and pushed outward. With a creek it opened to the bright, dry, and dusty air of Ord Mantell. "Well this looks fun..." She replied sarcastically as she looked around. it was a big city, but simple looking at the same time. Dirt roads plane buildings. Not something she would have expected. "Hey Lori! Call me if you need another transfer!" Stella gave a quick thumbs up and hopped back in her ship before speeding back out to the atmosphere. Lori raised an eyebrow at her friends sudden retreat. "Well, lets find me some mando's." She smirked and picked up her bag before walking towards the main part of the city.

It looked almost like a Bazzar where she was. The marketplace thrived with people as the sun beat down on the dirt streets. Dust filled the air from the people walking by as shouts from different booths tried to grab everyone's attention. Lori focused on her goal. She needed to get to the hotel where the group of Mandalorians were meeting. She needed to talk to the comander Ranford's second rank. "Alright Larek, let's see if you remember me." She gave a smirk and tighened her grip on her bag. Lori weaved her way through the crowds and carts looking for the main hotel.

The hotel quickly came into view as she opened the door and walked across the hall, ignoring the calls of other vendors and workers at said hotel. She looked around for the bar that would be close by, and found the sign that led into another room. Lori walked towards it and grasped the nob, pushing it open with no noise. The door swung open to the bar as she exited the main hotel. The noise dropping down in a few waves as the main focel point was now behind her. Her combat boots tapped across the worn wooden floors as she slowly made her way towards the back. Smoke lingered in the air as the dull lights made the atmosphere here feel a bit uneasy. Lori glanced around herself. Seeing the group of hunters in the back she had been looking for. A few she recognizzed, but the dull black and blue armor of Larek she could spot anywhere. Her face scrunced into a frown and her ears bent down in her frusteration. Quickening her pace she walked up to them all. "Larek you've got some nerve going after the bounty I warned you about. I told you the information I was looking for last meeting and you told me you would keep me up to date you lieing nerf-herder." She grit her sharp teeth. Almost barring them at the men. Larek's t-visor flashed in the neon light as he leaned forward towards her. The front of his helmet now bathed in the warm glow of the lights. A deep click came from his helmet and several more from the holsters of his vode."Im sorry, I didn't know I answered to cowardly vermin." he said in a deep gruff voice. Then turning he glanced at his commander who was leaning back in the shadows arms folded. Lori's eyes flashed but she didn't say anything. "You know damn well about that agreement we made." She didn't move from her spot infront of the large table. "I never gave my word." he said lifting his drink up as the extendable straw left the cheek of his helmet and intered the blue glowing liquid. Larek took a few swigs and turned back to Lori. "are you still here little lepi?" he said his voice heavy with sarcasm. Lori reached forward and grasped the front of his coller on his bask'gar and brought him close to her face. She didn't look to pleased and the fact that this was a personal issue made her at least seem a bit more threatening to some. The bar went to a dead quiet as a few drinkers shifted nerviously in there seats. Lori could feel the stairs of the other mando's just waiting for her to give them a reason to shoot her. "Give me a reason to not kill you for the breaking of our contract." Her voice was to serious to be taken lightly. Larek glanced down at her hands and then back up. "Ah I see theres something I'm gonna teach you, unlike your kind mandalorians don't make idel threats...we make promises and I PROMISE you if you don't remove your hand..I will." he said is visor unwavering the whole time. The other mandos save the commander had all removed there blasters from there holsters and had rested them on the table as a show of force. Lori's grip only tighened. "I don't make idle threats myself Larek. You of all people should know this." Leaning back a bit Lori still held her guard up. "You have MY information that YOU own ME." She slammed her fist on the table, shaking it a bit and leaned forward. Her white hair spilling over her shoulders. "I already payed for this information and word on the street is that your holding out on me." She gave a devious smirk. "I can't stand double crossing punks Larek, or pansy's." She stood back to her full height. As She let go of him to stand Larek fallowed towering over her. He fanned his arms out and began to laugh. "You have guts. Something your race is lacking in, im surprised. The information your asking for when up in value substantcualy so your gonna have to make with the credits or do something about it." he said and as he finished his sentece the other mandos stood and created a ring around the girl. The commander stood last walking to Larek's shoulder and tapped him twice they turned to eachother and had what looked like a silent conversation. "Ha ha its you lucky day." Larek said pulling a data crystal out of his pouch."All the info on the target,we got bigger fish." he said fallowed the commander out the door. She glanced around herself at the mando's as they began to file out. "Really. Thats all you have to say? After everything? Wow you really are one of the lower guys on the list of credibility Larek." She shook her head and sighed. She looked at the crystal in her hand and shoved it in her pocket as the door to the bar finally slammed shut.

((HELLO EVERYONE~ Long time no post right?! Well I realise It has been a while, but I do dearly miss Lori and I loved the idea I had with her story.... SO Imma continue it. Hope I'm not kicked off Ben! )) By the time Lori had left the cantena and returned to her room, the sun had begun to set on the town. Though the heat stayed with the twilight Lori couldn't help but shake the feeling of Larek's gaze on her. The man and his men towered over her, and even if she looked tough she knew she could not handle them all by herself. She threw her bag on the worn looking wooden table and stripped off her extra top and long pants, leaving her just in a tank top and a pair of shorts against the muggy air in the room. The lights hung low and set a dim look to the atmosphere in the small building. People could be heard outside, laughing and yelling. Probably from some party down the street. There was not many furnishings in the room which she sat in, the only other chair aside from her bed and the one at an old table now held her riffle bag. Lori's feet kicked up high onto the table and crossed at the ankles as she sat down and got comfortable. The chair that supported herself creaked every time she rocked back onto it and her arms hung down on either side of her as she stared out the window, lost in her own thoughts with a hard gaze about her eyes. On the table lay a stack of papers, and an empty glass cup. Glass shattered on the street outside and Lorixlae's eyes flinched to the noise for a moment. A loud sigh suddenly filled the air with her warm breath as her head leaned back as far as it would go. She scratched her head and pulled off her red headband, causing her white hair to spill around her shoulders. just before she had got back into her room; though after her meeting with those old friends, she had received a message, not one she was now very fond of. A simple job offer to take out what would be a simple man by her line of work... but that was not what was causing her to think too much into this. She already had her hands full with another job. Lori held up the crystal stick into the air, and just staired at it. This device carried the information of the man who knew of her brothers last know whereabouts. And with that information she picked up at the compound library thanks to that cute soldier.... Lori paused. She brought her head back up and pushed the chair forward. Her feet hit the cold wooden floor as she moved to stand. No matter how long and hard she tried to change her thoughts on the subject, she kept coming back to the point of the new mission. Lori knew she needed the money, and any information in this side of the galaxy was always useful. Lori turned and threw the memory stick towards her satchel on the bed and walked over to her communicator. frowning, she grabbed the papers off the table, reading over them once more. What was this man's occupation anyway? Why was he wanted dead? Ah. Lori found it, he was the boss of a local fight club on the planet Selab. Lori shuddered at the thought of water. But also was happy to see that this bounty would be interesting after all. "Well I guess this will be a little fun then." She said with a smile. Her arms went to her lower back as she stretched forward and popped it, addicting as it was she couldn't seem to break the habit, 'Oh well.' She walked over to the bed and threw the covers over. She needed some sleep if she was to wake up early tomorrow. Lori was actually excited for this new job and figured she had taken enough time for a so called 'break'. Tomorrow this man would have hell to pay.

(((GOOD MORNING STARSHINE, I'M NOT DEAD. I also realize no one must be reading this. But it's still fun to write. ))) Morning had all but come too quickly for Lori, and was woken as the rays of the sun hit her in the eyes. A grumbled sound came out of her mouth as she flipped over onto her other side. She never was much of a morning person. Another five minutes went by and she finally pulled herself into a sitting position. Sleep had left her and she knew she wouldn't be able to relax again. Plus she needed to make her way towards Selab. She remembered the night before, and her encounter with the Mando's. it was not the first time her temper had not made her think all too rationally, and she was thankful that she had not gotten into much trouble with the group. Lori stood and stretched her arms over her head and threw her clothes back on, though she stuffed the cloak into her bag. It was too warm out. By the time she had gone down stairs and checked out of the hotel, she was already pulling out a holo map she kept with her, to see what her course would be. She could possibly try to call Stella again. Her friend was always reliable, but then it would take another two days possibly for her to get her, and Lori did not have that time. Instead she paused as she found herself in the market, and pondered a few people about transportation. Lori was lucky because female Lepi were obviously more attractive than the male ones, so she could turn on her charm and most people would be happy to give her information. Information which now led her to an old run down merchant warehouse, and with a little haggling she found herself with them on their transport on her way to Selab.
