A Hostile Invasion

[Maximus]

Maximus finally reached his tree. He grabbed onto a vine, and began to climb. He climbed and climbed. Finally he reached the top. He pulled himself onto his porch and ran into his hut.
Once inside he began to disrobe. He removed all clothing except for his compression shorts. Suddenly, his holopad communicator began ringing. He walked over to the table where he had set it before venturing off earlier that morning, picked it up and flicked it on.
A small figure appeared on the pad in his hand. "Good evening, Saber." The caller could not see Maximus, for he had disabled the video imaging on his end. However he could not see this particular person either. They were dressed in a black cloak that concealed its face. It wasnt very large in size, but its appearance gave Maximus the feeling that this was someone not to be trifled with.
"Who calls me?" He asked the figure.
"One that requires your services. Rumor has it you are a great bounty hunter, and an even greater warrior." Maximus said nothing to this. He did not indulge in flattery.
The figure continued. "We, that is to say, the Empire, needs your assistance in a small matter. We have confirmed reports of a rogue sith on planet Kashyyk. We have been told he has assumed the role of a sith general and has taken command of a squad of the Empire's finest soldiers."
"If the matter be so small, why then I ask you stranger, do you need my assistance?" Maximus challenged the man.
"The sith is very dangerous. Being a rogue means he has no bounds or chains to bind him to us. We cannot have this abomination running about the Imperial space. We need someone strong, precise, and brave enough to handle this. If your reputation preceeds you correctly, then you should be more than adequite for this task."
More flattery. Maximus didnt like this guy already. He needed to shut this guy up fast.
"Very well. I accept your bounty. I however do not need your credits." If the man was suprised at this statement, he did not show it.
"Thank you bounty hunter. You must find and eliminate this sith at all costs. He must not be allowed to live." The man bowed once then Maximus' comm went out.
Good riddens, Maximus thought.

[Jack Starbuck]

Jack whispered to Xeones "Apparently"
He then addressed everyone
"Alright everyone, we need to sit tight and wait for the first wave to strike, when they do we can meet up with the other walkers and carry on the fight."
As he said this he could see gunships flying overhead
"Roger!?"
"Roger!"

[Bardok]

"Silence yourself captain" Titus snapped at Jack. He addressed Xeones. "What the hell are you doing here? Where did you come from, where is your squad and commander?"

[Xeones]

But the gunships did not continue to the temple, they landed where in a half circle around the group. 50 troopers poured out guns raised. "Empirial Gloom Walkers, GET ON THE GROUND NOW!" they were screaming to everyone, they took no chances with the sith. A Few had Special Cuffs made for force users they closed in on Bardok to Arrest him. Xeones did not interfere he nodded to Jack as he got down on the ground as the soldiers had ordered.

[Maximus]

Maximus threw the holopad back onto the table.
A rogue sith. Well that would explain the explosions. Suddenly Maximus heard a low bellow that rumbled deep in his chest. He knew exactly what it was. Someone had disturbed the terentatek that dwelled in the nearby cave along the cliff face.
There deffinetly was a sith here.'
Maximus looked across the small room that comprised of his hut. His eyes came to rest upon a thick set of metal doors: his armor vault. Maximus walked up to the vault, punched in the code, and watched as the doors parted.

[Bardok]

Titus watched as fifty plus heavily armed troops poured out of the transports. They all shouted loudly, aiming their weapons, telling them all to get on the ground. Titus looked to the newcomer, Xeones. He knew somehow he must be involved in this. Possibly the captain too. He would make sure that they both suffered dearly for this.
But before he moved he felt something. The ground was trembling. Titus could sense something in the air. It was dark, evil......carnivorous.
Titus smiled.
The massive terentatek burst through the trees, roaring at the top of its lungs. The beast was half torn to shreds, its black blood was spilling everywhere. The monster charged forward and crushed a trooper underneath its huge foot. All the soldiers forgot the prisoners and opened fire on this great threat. The beast roared in mortal agony as blaster fire struck its open flesh, burning its innards. But despite its injuries and all the venom pumped into its veins the terentatek was not going down without a fight.
Perfect. Titus looked to Kantur Set and pointed at Xeones. Set nodded, and Titus activated his light saber. He ran at Xeones, intending to eviscerate his guts.

[Xeones]

Xeones stood up, faced the sith fully, he threw his weapon down and set his wait on his back foot, fists raised. The rest of the battle feild went out of focused he saw only the sith. "Come on you son of a murglak, do it," Thought Xeones.

[Maximus]

Maximus ran at break neck speed through the trees. Whatever was going on, he was missing out on it. He needed to get there fast to claim his prize.
After more roars from the terentatek, silence ensued. He ran for another half an hour. Then there was a blip in his ear, and a small red dot came into existence on his motion tracker. He immediately stopped and dropped down. It was a good thing he did, because just then a soldier, young, stepped through a thick bush and into his view. He walked straight in front of Maximus, no more than ten yards away. He was flanked by another soldier, wearing the same bulky grey armor. Both were followed by another soldier, this one in a black armor. His right arm plating was gone, and some kind of wound ran down the length of his arm.
They walked by without so much as a glance in his direction.
Maximus decided that these three were his best bet on finding out just what the hell was going on. He quietly followed suit, keeping a safe distance behind them.
After a few minutes of walking, they entered a clearing. In the clearing there were several other people. All but two were dressed in the same grey armor as the other two soldiers. One was a wookiee. The other however was not. And this one stood out the most.
This figure was garbbed in some kind of black armor, with a cloak shrouding his face and draping over his shoulders. He was big, taller than all the rest in the clearing. Maximus could see his eyes though. They glowed a deep crimson hue, like blood.
This was definitely no ordinary soldier.
Thsi had to be a sith.
But whether or not it was the sith he needed, Maximus did not yet know. He would have to wait and watch. The young helmetless soldier walked up to the giant and said something, but Maximus could not hear. He did not appear to be listening for he ignored the soldier and spoke directly to the injured soldier.
"Where did you come from? Where is your squad and commanding officer?"
The soldier did not answer. He did not get a chance to. Suddenly, several troop transports tore through the tree canopy and landed around the group. Dozens of troopers jumped off the transports, all brandishing heavy arms, and ordered all to get on the ground. Some started to. The wookiee and sith remained standing.
Suddenly, Maximus felt a cold chill run down his spine. No sooner had this happened when the terentatek he'd heard earlier burst through the trees opposite side of him.
Maximus was a little suprised to see the beast's condition though; it was bloody, its left arm dangled uselessely at its side, and its ribcage was exposed. It roared and charged into the trooper's line. As they turned to deal with the creature, the sith had drawn his light saber and ran at the man in the black armor. The man threw down his weapon and held his fists at the ready.
'kriff,' Maximus thought. This wouldnt be good. If this was truly the sith he needed, then he had to get him before all these troops did.
Maximus rose to his feet, drew his blaster rifle, and opened fire on the sith.

[Jack Starbuck]

Jack was so focused on the Terentatek that he did not see Titus charge toward Xeones.
"Alright!! Everyone spread out now!!"
He pointed to the group spreading right and designated them 1st squad
then to the second group as second squad
"First squad, open fire and distract that thing while second get farther back! Second you do the same for first when your in position!
These soldiers weren't Gloom Walkers and they weren't trained as well either but they did their job the best they could.
Once bother squads were in position they both commenced fire from 50 meters away the beast
and Jack was right in front of it with his carbine blaster raised.
yelling at it and taunting it while it was getting pummeled by blaster fire
"Come on barve! I'm what you want!" In fact he was right the beast kept walking towards him. Jack unloaded his power cell onto the beast then threw a thermal detonator in on of its holes.
The beast roared in pain and knocked down a tree, the force of its crash nearly sent Jack flying, and it did to Des. "Des no!" He jumped over the log to find Des unscathed getting up "Des! come on get up!" They both ran as hard as they could but the beast was to close to them "Cease fire! second squad cease fire!" as he said this the terentatek swooped down to pick Jack and Des up, he pushed Des out of the way sending his missile launcher into Jacks hands. He held it firmly as the beast lifted Jack up to his mouth. Jack saw the beasts eyes filled with rage and hunger, it then opened his mouth to swallow him. At this Jack raised the missile launcher with its final shot "Suck my dick" he fired the shot as the beast let go. "Shiii-" Jack was engulfed by the flames in the monsters bowels.
The terentatek roared its loudest roar its yet to roar
"Stop firing! do you want to bloody kill the captain?!" Des commanded
another soldier remarked "What are you talking about! He's dead!"
Des looked at the monster roaring as it fell to the ground "Not yet"
The terentatek yelled in pain and then went limp and quiet.
Des waited for what seemed like hours
Finally Jack slashed his way our of the beasts belly with his sith shortsword
"Agh! Fuckin Dammit!" Jack rolled out of the carcass gasping for breath
"And I thought they smelled bad on the outside"

[Bardok]

Titus had his blade drawn and had charged Xeones. The insolant sleemo was going to die. Thanks to him, Titus had been exposed to the entire empire.
He was ten feet from his target when two blaster bolts whizzed by his nose. He stopped his charge and looked to the origin of the bolts. A new soldier had appeared from the trees and had opened fire at Titus. Only this one was different.
He had no markings of the Imperial army. His blaster rifle was an older model that had been discontinued. And his armor was completely different from any soldier's. It made him look big, but not bulky, keeping him light and quick should he need it. The mask or helmet had two eyes that glowed a bright white light. It looked as though an emotionless, robotic face were staring him in the eye.
This was no soldier. This was a bounty hunter. So the whole galaxy was after his head. Fine. They'd have to come and get it.
Titus could not ignore this newcomer. Whereas he wanted to kill Xeones, this man was armed. He was the immediate threat. And he must be eliminated. Titus turned at him and charged.

Meanwhile The wookiee Kantur Set continued after Xeones. He was going to kill this human for threatening his master's life. He was upon the man in a few steps, and aimed a blow with his fist at hs head.

[Xeones]

The battle field had shifted in an instant. Xeones now faced a wookie. Strange it seemed to have followed the sith. The whole thing did not seem right. Calling on all his strenght Xeones used one arm to thrust the wookies bow upward as he reached for a grenade with the other hand. He dove out of the way, expecting an explosion. It went off but it was only a smokegrenade. It was a special kind and soon the whole battle feild was filled with thick grey smoke. Every few seconds a bright flash would occur. The grenade was built to confuse even sith in a battle. No longer able to rely on his eyes, Xeones felt the ground for a weapon. His Mandolorian Pistol. How did it fall? it didn't matter, it was in his hands now as he searched around looking for the wookie.

[Maximus]

The sith had changed his direction and came straight at Maximus. He calmly continued to fire at the sith who was only ten feet away.

[Bardok]

As Titus closed the distance between him and the bounty hunter, the man fired three rounds at him. He deflected two, but took one in the left shoulder. It did little damage, the armor took most of the hit.
He was upon the hunter. He swung his blade from the high right and down upon his attacker.

Kantur Set had been blinded by the smoke. The little man had gotten out of his reach and had rolled past him. Kantur turned around and saw through the smoke the man crawling on the ground. The wookiee let out a war cry and came up behind him. He raised his foot over his back and attempted to stomp down on him.

[Xeones]

Xeones felt a crushing weight on his back, he could hear his armour starting to crack. Xeones put every effort into rolling onto his back. Finally he did it, he raised the pistol up and fired and fired. The wookies weight had taken all the air out of him. He was running out of oxygen. As Xeones fired away, the edges of his vision turned fuzzy. He stared seeing black. He kept firing, this damn wookie wouldn't be the end of him.

[Maximus]

The sith was upon him and had swung his lightsaber at him. Maximus ducked and rolled left into the smoke that had somehow spawned itself on the battlefield, trying to gain distance on the sith. As he completed his roll, landing on his feet, he reached to his belt and primed a grenade. He threw it back at the sith.

[Jack Starbuck]

Jack got up scrapping the rest of the terentateks guts off of him to see the gunships for the assault heading toward the enclave. He then looked to a grateful Des who slapped him hard on the back "You son of a bothan! Sir with respect, don't ever karking do that again!" "Jack gave him the pat back "Yes sir" He then looked toward the enclave "Ok time to get this assault on the moving." But then he looked over to a little skirmish off to the side between the sith, xeones, titus' wookie and some dude in awesome black looking armor. He then turned to Des "Can you handle taking these guys there? I'll catch up with you as soon as we get this settled." Des looked at the other troopers then gave a nod "You got it sir." Jack gave a nod of appreciation "Thanks."
"Oh and captain?"
"Yes sergeant?"
"You're gonna need this." He took off his helmet and gave it to Jack and motioned to the freshly popped smoke grenade.
"Thanks buddy"
Des lead the other storm troopers over to the assault landings while Jack headed over to the skirmish between Xeonoes and the wookie. He picked up his proton carbine and put a fresh energy cell into the rifle. He then stood poised in thought. 'So the sith was really a fake, he then realized he had loyalties to one person in this fight and that was Xeones. Hoping that armored guy took down the sith Xeones and Jack together would have no problem taking down the wookie. "Right!" He donned on his helmet and turned on the thermal visor. He could see the wookie and Xeonoes Clearly through the smoke. Jack got closer than he expected
He fired a shot into the wookies side, he received his thanks with a backlash from the wookies arm. Jack flew into a tree to be met with the wookies hand on his throat. Jack chocked for a minute.
He remembered the similar pain that he felt in his battle with Murric "No! *cough* no to you!" He unsheathed his sword, his misery, his pain and plunged it deep into the wookies leg. The wookie roared and let go of Jack as he pulled his sword out of the wookies leg.
"Comeon!"

[Xeones]

The wookie turned his attention elsewhere. Xeones layed down nicely in order to give the wookie time to react. "Your turn wookie" shouted Xeones over the din of the controlled battle were the gunfire followed a nice pattern of to pews for every bang.

[Bardok]

Titus watched as the grenade left the smoke and flew at him. He quickly reacted and smacked the explosive aside with his open palm. It flew into a bush and detonated harmlessly. Two shots came out of the smoke. One went wild, the other Titus managed to barely delfect. He moved forward and could just make out the hunter. He lunged at him, attempting to chop him straight down the center.

Kantur Set was angry. He ran at the man who had stabbed him and aimed a kick at his chest.

[Jack Starbuck]

Jack saw the kick just in time to role off to the side of the wookie. Unholstering his blaster and his sword still in hand he asked "Ok now mr. wookie Im going to slash you in the back now so you can avoid it, ok?"

[Maximus]

To counter the sith, Maximus dove straight for the man, dropping his blaster in the process, and made a grab for the man's light saber hand.
