Encounters in the Emperor's Palace (closed)

(im starting out somewhere else but i figured that was a good title for it and ill just get this whole lightsaber thing done on my own since i wont be on this weekend)

Skeang had been thinking about what he was going to do he decided to make a quick stop at a.... little known store he had visited often during his time on this planet. He went to the shop and picked out his purchase.

the shop owner said "Well its been a while since I saw you around. What in the world would you need a thermal deonator for?"

Skeang put his credits on the table and told him. "Lets just say that I may need to take something with me if things get a little too rough for me."

Skeang had never tried this before but he loosened the muscles on his chest and implanted the explosive into his chest. He planned to have a little surprise ready if he was captured. He reached the palace and used his special way of..... negotiating his way through the guards. He made himself known as he walked into the main chamber. Bowing on one knee and presenting himself to the people in charge he said "I am a but a humble dark sider wishing to perfect my skills under the true sith's teachings."

He focused any dark power he could exert. One person who appeared to be an apprentice approached him telling him "you seemed to have caught the higher up's attention well will let you in for the time being."

Skeang followed the guards that he was told to with a large smile on his face.

Skeang had been waiting for a few days and after requesting for the chance to make a new lightsaber her was waiting for someone to guide him to the area of the palace the emperor had designated to building a lightsaber.

[Sith]

The acolyte led skeang into a small training area where many other acolytes were training in the use of lightsabers.
the higher ups have decided to teach you to make a lightsaber on the condition you defeat me in combat. I am one of the top students in physical combat here, and you will be allowed to use any lightsaber of your choice.

a cabinet opened nearby holding many different lightsabers in it, all of different varieties.
you may choose and begin as soon as you wish

Skeang smiled for a second removing his robes he quickly grabbed 2. One long and one short the way he was accustomed. He quickly fooled with them turning them on to make sure they worked. Then he felt himself feel an enormous blood lust from the knowledge that he was going to get to fight a sith and that if he won he would be able to use both his saber's again. Feeling this blood lust gave him a quick burst of his force energy that he readied to use when needed. He took his position and said "I'm ready if you are". He then waited for his opponent.

[Sith]

The sith acolyte grinned wickedly and charged Skeang, with his hands up as if he were going to punch the gen'dai. As he came within three feet, he spun and ignited a bright red double-bladed lightsaber with a very short handle and abnormally long blades. He continued his spin, pumping momentum into a ferocious swing at the right side of Skeang's rib cage.

(Skeang has no ribs)

Skeang saw the assault before him and using all his strength blocked to the right with both sabers. He held both there for a split second but once he knew he was stable jabbed forward with his left saber toward the chest of his opponent.

[Sith]

the sith backflipped away and landed in a low crouch. then, using the force, he threw his lightsaber at skeang in an arc, like a boomerang. at the same time, he threw some practice remotes at him from the opposite dirrection with enough force to knock a normal person out.

[Darth Jeluvitas]

(this might get confusing with more than four people on this thread, so here goes.)

Jeluvitas was orbiting coruscant, waiting for all the beaurocracy to file through everything and finally decide to grant clearance for his apprentice and himself. this was exactly why the empire needed to be brought down. even though the emperor claimed to be better for the entire galaxy, all his underlings desired to do something to feel important and made even him jump through hoops to get where he wanted. let the republic come back. let it corrupt the galaxy. he did not care. all he cared about was his own pursuit of REAL power that could only be found in the force. after explaining for the tenth time that his apprentice was a new recruit for the sith temple, they finally let him land in the imperial hangars. he was greeted by a large procession to bring the recruit into the temple for training. he would have to report to the emperor as soon as he possibly could. then he would take care of a few things and leave this place for good.

[Skeang]

(no idea what a remote is but ill work with it)

Skeang saw the saber coming at him but also noticed the remotes. He used the force energies to brace himself and felt the remotes connect and barely phase him. He then grabbed the saber in a large X with both his sabers and attempted to throw it to the side then charged at the sith one saber aimed at his feet and the other toward his chest.

[Sith]

(a remote is a small droid about the size of a coconut used for training in lightsaber combat. it would shoot lasers that would mildly sting the opponent, and usually the jedi/sith training with it would be blindfolded. luke trained with one briefly in "A new hope")

When his lightsaber was deflected, he merely pulled it from his opponent and brought it back to his hands. then he spun the lightsaber in front of him to parry his opponents obvious frontal attacks. he then did a butterfly twist away, using the spin of his blades to his advantage, swiping at his legs as he spun

Jumped to block the sweeping at his legs but felt the saber slice off his right foot. He cringed then gave a slight chuckle as his foot grew back. Then catching his opponent's saber at the end of its swing with his right arm. He then swung at his opponent's chest but this time throwing most of his arm into it with enough force that if he was hit by his arm he would be knocked back a few feet.

[Sith]

(jedi... gymnast, its all the same)

the jedi had not expected his opponent to regrow his legs like that, and took the full force of the punch, being pushed back across the room. he jumped up quickly and was ready to fight again. this time he ran in and released force lightning on his opponent, at the same time as using a long sweeping frontal attack, hoping to overwhelm his opponent

[Skeang]

Skeang saw the attack before him. He used his force powers to best brace himself for the attack and in a split second decision was able to angle one of his sabers to block his opponent's attack. He cringed as the lightning hit him and pulsed down his body. He stood (greatly shaken but still awake and able to fight) and told his opponent "I like how you fight your tough but I hate to say for all your flipping and attacking I'm going to have to end this soon and well there's something you may have missed..". He began to push forward with his saber then slash forward using his free saber. He yelled "I may not have the kinda technical ability but I'VE GOT THE MARKET CORNERED ON PURE UNCONTROLLED BRUTE FORCE."

[Sith]

As he was pushed backwards by his sheer power, he shifted his body and lightsaber so that it would brush past him and add even more power to the backswing of the other side of his blade, aiming at his chest this time.
you may have power, but when it comes to lightsaber duals, skill wins every time.

[Skeang]

Skeang saw the blade coming at him and quickly moved back so the blade was mere inches from his chest. He looked at the sith and sent both his blades forward. He aimed one at his opponent's legs and the second for the physicial part of his saber. He told the sith "I've got skills i wouldn't even bother wasting on you"

[Skeang]

having waited 3 days Skeang swiftly decapitated his opponent, punted the head and ran in place screaming "your too slow" followed by his trademarked touchdown dance. UNLESS SOMEONE WANTS TO DO SOMTHING ABOUT IT

"Jeluvitas!" Lents barked from nowhere. "Get over here!"

[Darth Jeluvitas]

gah!!! fine!!!.

jeluvitas walked through the palace seeing a large alien which he had never seen before. he saw him dueling a human apprentice and saw he was about to lose. He also saw the conversation they were having about TRUE power. the fools knew nothing of power. he decided he would show them both. he unleashed his trademark frost lightning on both of them, nearly freezing them to imobility. "real power isnt found in a lightsaber, or strength. real power is found only in the force. this fight is over, and my point is made, now go teach him, hypothetically, to make a lightsaber so he can help his jedi friend to fail at taking down the empire. or whatever it was he wanted. i have better things to do.

Skeang shook off the frost lightning and looked for someone to teach him the way to make a lightsaber

shortly afterward, jeluvitas magically warps back to the hangar to wait for his apprentice to reply....
