when you try to use lightning, you use pure emotion to channel it. you let your rage take control and release it like a child having a tantrum. lightning is not raw and uncontrolled. lightning is precise, and deadly. you may use rage as a catalyst for it, but you most control the anger, be the master of it, and force it to do your bidding. raw emotion will give you power, but never precision.

To her credit, Ophelia nodded in agreement. She realized that she had been acting like a recalcitrant child and needed to concentrate more to become controlled. “Got it.” And as if to prove that she understood, she closed her eyes and began meditating, drawing in a deep breath as she gathered the Force within. She felt as though a light was growing inside her chest and she held it there, confining it until it was a mere pinpoint. When she released her breath, she opened her eyes and a more powerful stream of lightning leapt from her fingers. Of course, it was not the strongest of bursts, but it was definitely more precise than her last pathetic attempts. She smiled, looking to Jeluvitas.
“Kind of like that?”

Ophelia sat there, contemplating what he said for a moment, and then stood. She then plucked up the hand and placed it back in the security box, locking it safely once more. Tython, that was where she needed to go; what was where she would find the next step toward supreme power. With an uncharacteristic calmness, she exited her quarters and walked down the hall to the command center. “Set a route to Tython. We’re getting off this karking planet and traveling to the Temple of Belia Darzu.”
