ooc: now that the craziest St. Patrick's day is over, I can get back to posting :/
"Skeang hurry up with that stuff, I dunno how long I can hold them off--" Lents grunted as he gathered a wave of Force energy and used it to sweep a few of the Devaronians off their feet. Blaster bolts came flying his way, but he ducked behind the shelf and saw them streak by. Hurriedly, he threw a couple artifacts from here and there into the sack he had brought until a Devaronian turned the corner and swung a vibrosword at Lents' head. Instinctively, Lents ignited the blade of his lightsaber with a snap-hiss and deflected the blade. Taking a step back, the Devaronian called to his companions "Jedi! On top of the loot from here, the Empire will pay out the nose for these!" "Good luck with that," Lents growled as he surged forward, taking the Devaronian to the ground. As they slammed into the durosteel flooring, Lents redirected the vibrosword and plunged it deep into the Devaronian's chest. Seeing another few bearing down on him, he threw out another wave of Force energy to stall them for a moment as he hopped to his feet and scooted back to Skeang. "Skeang what are you doing with that artifact? We have to get out of here as fast as possible!"

Skeang remained in his trance, he heard Lents's words but they were having trouble registering. The enormous bulk of Skeang's nervous system was in sync with this strange blade. It was at that time a blaster bolt striking him hard in the back of the head. As his head reformed the pain from the shot and resulting anger flowed through his body, and surprisingly through the blade. Skeang's force weapon power entered the blade seamlessly upon dark side energy being generated inside him.
Skeang lifted the sword, spinning around to see the remaining Devaronians. "Watch yourself Eth, I'm about to have some fun." Skeang rushed forward at the group swinging the massive blade imbued with his force power at them. He caught two of them with the giant swing. The first was sliced clean through, the second who had used his gun to block was sent flying back. The swing felt extremely good. Skeang stared down the remainder of the group watching for the fear and increased heart rates that would show there fear.

"Emperor's black bones!" A wave of dark side energy surged out of the sword like a typhoon. If Skeang was nigh-unstoppable before, with this weapon his power would rival that of the Emperor's. For the umpteenth time, Lents thanked the Force that the gen'dai was not his enemy. He turned his eyes away from the slaughter and quickly began loading up all the artifacts into the storage bags. "Whenever you're ready..." Lents was unsure if Skeang would hear him in his trance-like state, but he could only hope. He forced himself to close his eyes and meditate in the Force for a moment, as the overwhelming dark side energies had started to make him nauseous--but finding a conduit to the purity of the light side was like finding a pebble in an asteroid field. Hoisting the pack over his shoulder, he made his way towards the door, sending out sensory tendrils to monitor the hallways outside.

Skeang leaped into the air, closing the gap between him and another person, coming down on top of him with a force that shook the remaining items on the shelves. Finding another target he swept the sword back to build up power for another swing and hitting a droid on the back swing before cutting down his latest target. The group had opened fire on him but all the shots were either blocked by his massive sword or simply further fueled the rage he was in. Soon only one Devaronian was left, when he heard Lents tell him to leave, Skeang unleashed a powerful swing slicing apart the last bounty hunter and sending at least part of him into a shelf knocking it over. It was then that Skeang met eyes with the leader of the Devaronians who nearly dropped a vase upon seeing the hulking Gen'dai holding a blade dripping with his men's blood. "Run! Shouted the leader "We got Jerrik and some artifacts no point in staying in this dump." The group left the room as Skeang's mind started to clear, his body hadn't taken the toll that it normally would have while using his force weapon but Skeang knew this exertion would catch up to him sooner or later. The sword had felt extremely good but something had come over him a blood lust that he would not usually feel over some pathetic bounty hunters. He followed Lents back toward the hallway. "Sorry about that... I wanted to try that relic out and got a bit carried away. However did you hear them? They said they got the owner of this place which means the bounty is there's if they get him back to Hurri." Skeang thought for a second his head still muddled from the slaughter he had just committed, "Do you have an idea how to get that guy from them? I bet if we take them head on those cowards will kill him before we take him."

"That's definitely a possibility, but one we're going to have to risk. We need the Hutts' allegiance, and doing everything we can to make Hurri consider this mission a success on our part is something we need to do." Lents paused and thought about it a bit. "How about this. Just like we did at the traffic control tower on Coruscant, you approach them from the most obvious direction and make a lot of noise, while I'll find away around them and try to snatch Caroon while their eyes are pointed at you."

"Sounds doable just you better make it quick. I'm guessing I won't be able to take out too many of them until they realize what I'm going after and use him to keep themselves alive." Skeang noticed the commotion in the complex was dying down, he and Lents ran toward an exit hoping to make it out of the complex before the group of bounty hunters did. Luckily Skeang and Lents made it out just before the Devaronians exited the compound. Hiding around a corner they saw them start loading cargo onto there ship, one that was suspiciously thrashing about. Skeang looked back to Lents saying, "Get into whatever position you need and give me a signal to head in there to distract them."

Lents wondered how he could cross over to their ship without them seeing him and bit his lip. There existed those Jedi who could have just used the Force to blind their mind's eyes to his presence, which would have allowed Lents to simply walk over and grab Caroon easily--but Lents' power was not that kind. He needed to get behind them. Even if they knew he was there, he wasn't going to be the star of this show. "Don't worry about me Skeang, just come out when the time is right." Lents turned the corner, holding his lightsaber in his hand, not using the Force at all. He yelled and charged haphazardly, swinging the yellow blade without technique or intention. "The Jedi! Try to take him alive! He'll be worth even more than Caroon!" "Then should we dump Caroon?" "No you laserbrain, we'll take the bounty on both!" Blaster bolts flew at Lents, aimed for nonlethal spots on his body. he deflected a few with his lightsaber but also let a couple bounce off his breastplate. He got in close and a vibroblade swung into his left. Lents purposefully fumbled and dropped his lightsaber. "Oh kark!" The handle was quickly sweeped up and Lents found himself in the familiar position of staring down the barrels of 360 degrees of blasters. "haha, did you really think you could take us on? Stupid Jedi. Tie him up!" A couple of electrocuffs were slapped onto Lents' wrists and he was pushed forward into another empty bag. 'Alright, Lents' he thought to himself. 'What did you get yourself into now, and what's your plan to get Carron and make it out with all yoru limbs intact?' Lents counted on the knuckleheaded smugglers to forget about his use of the Force, and from his perspective, everything seemed to be going swimmingly.

Skeang waited for Lents to be captured and quickly climbed up onto the compound. He needed this to be pretty big to draw the attention away long enough for Lents to get what they needed. Skeang ripped a small pipe from the top and as soon as it was clear he hurled it down toward the ship. It didn't do any damage but the sound called several of the bounty hunters out from inside, which was exactly what Skeang wanted. Here goes nothing Skeang thought as he jumped from an overhang on the compound landing on one of the bounty hunters, he slashed his new sword into another as he recovered from the fall. Several blaster shots hit his chest as he lunged forward into another bounty hunter, things were going more or less smoothly as more of the remaining hunters poured out of the ship. There was no sign of the leader however when Skeang saw the Herglics from earlier barrel out of the compound in his direction carrying Vibrostaves, which were admittedly hilariously small in the hands of such large creatures. Still enemies of such massive stature would make this job a lot harder. He just hoped Lents knew what he was doing in there.

Lents reached out with the force and felt the presence of Caroon nearby. He would need to make sure Caroon remained relatively unharmed. This was going to require a lot of concentration--which would be hard to attain, given his uncomfortable physical position and the overwhelming waves of fear flowing through the Force from the Devorians outside. He closed his eyes and meditated on silence as best he could. When he felt sufficiently detached from his physical surroundings, feeling like he was swimming in an endless ocean of the Force, he gathered up as much of the energy swirling around him as he could. He collected the energy, compressed it, focused it, and with a shout released it from himself in as strong a blast as he could. The cuffs and cargo bag he was contained in burst into tiny shreds as a storm of Force power emanated from his body. With a surge of the residual power he lifted the bag containing Caroon and tossed it far away, vaguely in the direction of the 'Rush. He remotely softened the landing so Caroon didn't die, then turned his attention to the battle--more akin to a slaughter--in front of him. He pulled his cross-saber out of the dead hands of the Devaronian who had taken it from him and ignited it with an ominous snap-hiss. "This is what happens when you mess with the neo-Jedi! The power of the Force is beyond all of your imagination!" Lents wasn't a neo-Jedi, but perhaps the bounty hunter Eth Erzin could be associated with them, disguising his light side prowess among the non-force-sensitive as that power of Skeang's people.

Skeang quickly skewered another bounty hunter as the Herglics slowly closed the gap between him and the ship. Yelling at the whole mess like there were some people other than them who hadn't noticed. "That thing is attacking our guys! We gotta save our guys!" Unable to pull the barely living Devorian before the Herglics were at a dangerous range. So Skeang swung his blade so the bounty hunter's body was thrown toward the large herglics. Skeang almost laughed as the two giant creatures both jumped out of the path of the comparatively small object flying toward them. So Skeang took the opportunity to reach forward with his arm. He knew that slice clean through these things because of there size but he knew he could probably make a decisive strike. Skeang grabbed into the shoulder of the Herglic and pulled himself forward toward the pair, aiming to stab him right in the chest. Luckily the creature was big enough to anchor Skeang so he could pull himself toward it. Skeang's blade sunk in deep into the muscle of the Herglic, unfortunately he didn't make it all the way through him so Skeang was relatively sure it would be able to retaliate. However the Herglic only managed to cry out before passing out. The other thoroughly frightened stabbed Skeang in the gut once with his stave before running at full speed toward the compound once again. Skeang removed his sword from the Herglic he had stabbed, realizing that finishing off such a... dim witted opponent wouldn't be worth it or enjoyable he turned his back to the remaining Devatorians.

The Devaronians, seeing their Herglic allies dispatched by the terrifying gen'dai and the force-powerful omwati having escaped from their hull, scattered in various directions, fleeing for their lives. "Come on, Skeang, let's get out of here, before someone else decides that stealing the bounty from us is a good idea!" He closed his cross-saber blade and ran back to where the 'Rush was, stopping by the bag containing Caroon. "You grab Caroon, I'll go get the engines started up." Lents passed on by the cargo bag and ran up to the remotely lowering on-ramp of his VT-49. Sitting comfortably in the pilot's seat, he finally allowed himself a brief moment of relaxation. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, then began the warm-up sequence.

Skeang heard Lents, shoving away the last Devaronian that had come at him. Running toward the ship he heard the engines of the rush begin to hum just as he entered the ship. Back where they had fought the remaining bounty hunters were too busy regrouping, hiding, and tending to the wounded to follow. "Well that didn't go half bad at all, lets not waste too much more time here" Skeang felt his force power die down and waves of exhaustion came over him, he had just enough energy to sit up and help Lents pilot the ship. Had it not been for that peculiar sword he came across Skeang would have probably used up all his power long before this point. Lucky for him it used his force power so efficiently. Holding it up to look at it he spoke to Lents. "This weapon is quite strange, I think I'll hold onto it rather than give it to Hurri. We couldn't have possibly grabbed all those artifacts, so I'll just tell him it was one of the ones we missed."

Good idea, Skeang. You were a nightmare on that battlefield. I wouldn't touch that thing with a ten-meter-pole, but in your hands, well..." Lents trailed off. He was thankful that blade had found its way into Skeang's hands and not the hands of a sith--like Jeluvitas or his apprentice. Lents shuddered to think about that hypothetical. He rerouted as much power to the engines as they could take and blasted away from Nar Shaddaa. "Next stop, Nal Hutta." Lents was taking a bizarre sort of comfort in the devilish presence of Hurri's palace. With the location becoming familiar to him, and the potentiality of the Hutts' alliance with the Jedi, he surged with hope as, with a strong tap to the control panel, he activated the autopilot.
