In the couple of years since Jedi Padawan Lents Terria came through the region with wide-eyed hopes of reuniting the Jedi, that mission has been surprisingly successful--helped in no small part due to the new mobility of the Empire after the disaster on Coruscant.
With knowledge of the Jedi still existing spreading through the galaxy like wildfire, many enclaves who would otherwise have been content to keep hiding have been spurred into action, knowing that the long era of peace through invisibility was over.
The planet Ossus has been chosen as the Reborn Jedi Order's new base of operations, and is now teeming with Jedi life. The planet has mostly shifted into Jedi rule easily, but there are still a few small skirmishes involving Imperial sympathizers that need to be dealt with before the Jedi can feel safe. Having also spread tendrils of influence to the surrounding regions, the Jedi hope to keep knowledge of the base's location out of Imperial ears, but whether this is a realistic goal or just a pipe-dream can't be reasonably answered by anyone. However, since the Empire has been somewhat relaxed on their grip in the outer regions, the dominating hope is that thy don't have enough tactical information to easily crush the Jedi, if at all. Even then though, by this point the Jedi have gained a strong momentum of growth and strength, and feel almost ready to start striking back at the Empire in the near future.
Additionally, the fact that through the now near-legendary Skeang, the Jedi are also in contact with a growing population of anti-Imperial dark-side users has helped the Jedi on Ossus diffuse conspicuousness. And the extra manpower is always appreciated.

Lents rose with the sun, and donned his breastplate and cloak. Telekinetically grabbing his new lightsaber from the table next to his cot, he walked out of his tent and towards the rest of the camp.
After crashing on Dac, he had lost contact with that Bothan, but had successfully reached the Jedi Enclave there. The Jedi Mon Cal and Quarren were fortunately eager to help with the reunification process, and it was an easy matter to sneak off-planet through the storms that continually battered its surface. Lents had gone with Master Beckoaret and spent the next few years reaching out to more Jedi across the stars and honing his power, finally feeling confident in his title of Jedi Knight. In fact, having realized the potential of his uncommon technique of force-controlling his lightsaber telekinetically, he took some time off from reunification (letting it run under other hands for the time being) to construct a new lightsaber. This one was akin to the double-bladed weapons occasionally seen, but featured four orthogonal blades to each be turned on or off independently from the rest. Using this new weapon had taken him some time, but he found a much greater variety and flexibility than he had before--still able to use one blade if need be, but having three more in reserves.
It was this new cross-shaped four-pronged lightsaber that danced and bobbed, unpowered, around his hand that he used to fight in the battles for Ossus. That's where he was now, in a mobile camp blocking the width of a ravine that provided the only entrance to and from a deep valley where a squadron of Imperial-sympathizer soldiers lay. Cannon-armed drones swarmed over the adjacent mountains, able to pick off any small craft they might think of flying out of the valley. The Jedi couldn't just bomb the area though, as the enemy soldiers had actually managed to steal a valuable holocron from the archives of the ancient Jedi library located on Ossus. So it was up to Lents and the squadron under his control to neutralize the threat and bring the holocron back safe. Lents' crew, aside from two Jedi Padawans, was entirely made up of non-force sensitives recruited to the anti-imperial cause, but this gave Lents no concern. He knew that his crew consisted of reliable fighters and well-trained men. Today they were going to take the valley, so he needed to make sure everything was in place before go time.

"Good morning, Commander Terria," Lents heard a raspy respirator behind him. He turned around and saw a figure emerge from behind his tent. "'Morning Bostas. And it's just Lents. You're a Jedi too." Lents tipped his chin at the Jedi Padawan before him. Bostas was a young Xa Fel who had been picked up by a Sith recruiter and undergone training on Korriban before deserting to find the Jedi. He was covered in genetically-occurring scars and blisters and had a constant wild gleam in his eye from his Sith training--although now he was one of the strongest young proponents of the Light Side Lents had known in the Reborn Jedi Order, managing to overcome genetic respiratory and dermal problems with the help of the force. "Today we strike." "Yes, today we strike." "I woke up early and acquired some last-minute data." Bostas pulled a datachip out of his mounted eyecam and held it out to Lents. Lents took the datachip and plugged it into his mobile commpad holstered in his hip. Looking over the data, Lents' eyebrows raised. "They moved?" "To a position with a higher tree density. Easier to defend. I think they know we're coming." Lents nodded slowly. "I can't say that's unexpected..." "They'd be dense not to." Lents tapped a few times into the console controls on the commpad and brought up a holomap of the valley. "I'll take a third of our unit and head up this side of the mountain here--" He poked at the display. "--and hit from the top. I'm going to want you to go with Dairess and take another third to go in from this angle--" Dairess was the other Padawan in the unit--a human. Lents wanted her to stick with Bostas to help the Padawans support each other. The final third of the unit would be taken by Isskar, a non-force-sensitive Trandoshan who had much battle experience and was staunchly pro-Jedi. "And Isskar will take the rest and come in from here. My team will attack a little before the other two to draw their attention upwards and away from the ground level, to make your jobs easier and hopefully sweep through them without too much resistance." Bostas gave a curt nod. "Sounds solid. I'll go get Dairess." "Alright, yeah. Get her and pick your men, I'll go relay the strategy to Isskar. Meet up back here in, say, 30 standard minutes. I'd like to move out in two standard hours at the latest." "Yessir," Bostas bowed with a flourish and walked off."

After spreading the plan through the camp, Lents hiked with his team up the ridge, making sure to keep behind the dense vegetation out of sight of the enemy camp below. In constant communication with Bostas, Dairess, and Isskar, he kept an updated 2D map on his datapad to oversee the operation. The datapad beeped with an incoming update of Bostas' and Dairess' team. They were nearing their rally point and would get there before even Lents and his group. Isskar had insisted that his team take a longer route around to plant traps on the opposite end of the valley, and so their timing would lag a little, but Lents felt the extra security would make the delay worthwhile.
"Alright troops, let's hurry up. We need to get into optimal position above the enemy camp. Long rifles, step forward." A handful of troops came forward carrying long-barreled blaster rifles and scopes. "You know your job. When we're scaling down the mountain, you need to fire down into the camp, causing as much chaos, starting when we hit... there." Lents pointed to an unavoidable barren patch on the slope. "That's when we'll be at our most vulnerable, and that's when you all need to open fire with everything you've got. I'll trust you to fire at will, wisely." He had them stay a bit back to be able to shoot from a better angle, and continued on with everyone else.
In a short while, they reached their rally point. Bostas' and Dairess' group had long since been in position, so all they needed to do now was wait on Isskar.

The group waited silently, tension rising. Lents' mouth was pursed as he stared down into the valley, looking for any signs of movement. He could see where Bostas' and Dairess' group was supposed to be stationed, but couldn't see head nor hair of anyone there. That was good--it meant they were well-hidden. Looking to his left, he stared towards the northern mouth of the valley for Isskar's group. He had received a message some time ago that the traps were in place, so it was expected they'd be long gone from there. As startling as if a rancor had fallen from the sky, Lents' datapad let out a soft ping and a message flashed. They were ready. He sent a message to the other two groups.
Quieter than shouting, but loud enough for everyone to hear, Lents spoke "Alright everyone, let's move!" He gripped his cross-saber tightly in his hand and began to move down the slope, followed by the 20 or so soldiers behind him. He was the Jedi leading the group, and they all looked to him for strength and morale. He wasn't going to pretend to himself like he was used to such a large leadership responsibility, but he felt himself warming up to the role more and more as he was required to do so ever since gaining knighthood.
A few whooshing sounds reached Lents' ears from above, and he spotted four explosive detonators tumble down the mountain and reach the enemy camp, exploding violently. "Open fire!" Lents shouted and from behind him a blanket of blaster shots draped over the slope and peppered the ground below with orange bursts. They were reaching the vulnerable spot and he shouted again. "Go, go! Get through as fast as possible, don't bother taking the time to fire!"
He lowered his head and sped up into a full-on sprint, bounding down large sections of the slope--using the Force to keep his balance. At this point return shots started hurtling up the slope at Lents and his group. Lents ignited all four golden blades of his cross-saber and threw it out in front of him, using the Force to rapidly spin it while sweeping it in large arcs to cover as much area as possible. Reflecting many shots back down into the valley, Lents closed his eyes and meditated on the Force to keep his focus in the midst of crisscrossing blaster shots, shouts, and explosions.
In a heartbeat he was out of the exposed zone far ahead of the rest and stopped to make sure that everyone else would make it through. He saw one young twi'lek get hit by two shots and tumble down the slope. Closing his blades, he ran to him. "Were you hit anywhere vital?" "No, just arm and shoulder, I--I'll live." "Alright, you just stay here and lay low. We'll come back and pick you up after the battle." "Th-thank you--sir Jedi." Lents nodded and turned back around to led the rest down into the encampment. He tore through the trees, igniting his cross-saber again. Reaching the bottom, he landed heavily on the ground and was now in the midst of the fray.

Immediately Lents was charged by a roaring zabrak swinging a force staff. Lents caught the end of the staff with one blade, stuttering the zabrak's advance for a split-second before releasing while spinning the cross-saber and cutting past the staff and though the zabrak. Two charging humans flinched back away from the angrily whirring cross-saber and opened rapid fire with blaster rifles. Lents angled his body just enough so that the first shot deflected off his breastplate and brought the cross saber forward to scatter the rest. Gathering force energy in his palm, Lents threw the two back and watched as one of his soldiers, a Duros, lobbed a detonator in their direction. "Nice, Torgitaal!" He had made an effort to learn as many soldier's names as possible to be as good a leader as he could. "Thanks, Jedi Terr--" "Watch out!" Lents used the force to jerk Torgitaal a meter to the side as an enemy soldier barreled onto his position with a bared vibrosword. Lents caught the blade with his cross-saber, but the enemy parried it and managed to slip past. Holding his palm out, Lents barely had time to push the soldier back and upwards, suspending him in midair as his cross-saber came from behind him and ran him through. A glance, and Torgitaal was gone, somewhere else in the battle. Calling his cross-saber back to his hand, Lents jumped back into the fight once more.

Lents battled his way deeper into the enemy camp, seeking the stolen holocron. A foe Ithorian dropped out of the trees in front of Lents and an explosion of sound threw him off his feet before he could react. Slamming into the ground, Lents called his ignited cross-saber back to his hands, hoping to catch the Ithorian on the flight back. However, the Ithorian spun around and grabbed two blades of the cross-saber with gauntleted hands. The blades sputtered and died and the Ithorian let out a triumphant word that Lents understood to mean 'cortosis'.
'Blast!' Lents thought, picking himself off the ground. The Ithorian rushed him again, inflating its lungs for another destructive burst of sound, but Lents surged forward, plunging his elbow deep into the Ithorian's long, curved neck. It let out a gasping stutter and Lents grabbed onto its protruding eyes, gripping tightly before throwing it to the ground. Using the force, he swung his cross-saber back around, at this point only a right-angle-saber, and stabbed one blade deep into the Ithorian's body and into the ground. The cortosis in the Ithorian's gauntlets had shorted out the other two blade, and Lents would have to repair that later. For now, he closed one blade, and wielded one blade, just like he used to.
Suddenly, the force tugged at Lents' mind, and he ducked instinctively, feeling two successive blaster bolts fly above his feathered head. A shout reached him from across the battle. "Impressive, Jedi! But I believe I have something you're looking for." Lents' eyes found the voice, a hardened, powerful-looking Togruta brandishing the very holocron Lents sought. Another two blaster bolts came from the Togruta, and Lents swung his one blade, deflecting them easily. "Will you risk losing this at the cost of catching me? Your decision!" And the Togruta darted off into the forest. "Emperor's black bones!" Lents grabbed his lightsaber out from midair and gave chase.

Lents flew through the forest, dodging trees and foliage with ease as he followed the Togruta, but the Togruta was fast. He had managed to escape Lents' vision, but Lents was still able to run after him by keeping a check on his presence using the force. Lents found himself running north towards the opposite end of the valley and actually back up the sloped mountainface. Drawing in his tendrils of Force perception, Lents pushed energy into his legs, rapidly speeding up to catch up to the Togruta. Finally, the Togruta slowed down as he became cornered at the top of a low cliff. At this point they were far away from the battle, but Lents had a vague sense in his intuition that told him it was winding down, in the Jedi army's favor. "Stop right there Jedi!" The Togruta held the holocron over the edge of the cliff, a thermal detonator also balanced between his fingers. "Make the wrong move and both of these go over." Lents paused. He could induce the Togruta drop them and use the Force to grab the holocron, but that might leave him open to blaster shots, and Lents was acutely aware of the blaster pistol in the Togruta's other hand, pointed straight at him. But before he could formulate a plan that would allow both him and the holocron to escape unharmed, the Togruta opened fire with a burst of wild shots. Lents flinched a few steps back as he contorted his body in avoidance, not even having time to use his lightsaber.
The Togruta holstered his weapon and pressed a button on a control panel strapped to his arm. A swoop bike screeched out from a camouflaged covering and the Togruta jumped off the cliff. Barely managing to hold onto the seat, he cackled as the bike tore off towards the northern mouth of the valley. "Uh oh..." Lents said to himself, watching in horror as the bike and its rider became a small speck in his vision. A minute later, a large glow of light and fireball rising into the sky was much easier to see for him. "I'd better get back to the others." He would send a search party to retrieve the holocron at soonest convenience. Turning away, he hurried back to where the battle occurred, only to find it had ended, with the Jedi troops victorious.

Lents' comlink beeped unexpectedly as he helped clean up the mess of the battle's aftermath. A small team had been dispatched to retrieve the holocron, and Lents hadn't forgotten about the injured twi'lek on the slope, so he had been retrieved and taken back to base as well.
"Well that's interesting," Lents mused. He hadn't heard from Skeang in a few months. Last contact, Skeang had been on Dantooine, trying to raise a group of anti-imperial neo-Jedi to help in the impending war. What could have possibly happened? Was he still on Dantooine? Either way, Lents knew his old friend would be here on Ossus soon enough, and so he delegated oversight of the battle's cleanup to Bostas, Dairess, and Isskar, and hiked back to camp in order to take a V-wing back to the old location of the Jedi enclave.
In the months since the initial conquering of Ossus had occurred, the Jedi had moved headquarters to the ancient temple, but there were still many that lived in the old enclave. At this point in time, had about as much a population as the temple. One of those was the Nameless Master, whom Lents greeted as he landed. "Good evening, Jedi Terria, is the operation over so soon?" "No master, but I got an urgent--and not very descriptive--message from Skeang, so I had to leave clean-up early. We were victorious, however. As for the holocron, I'm pretty sure it's safe." "Pretty sure?" "An enemy took it and tried to run but ran into one of our perimeter traps. I sent a team to retrieve it, but I had to leave before they returned. I came here because this is where Skeang knows to go when he gets here. I don't know exactly when that is, but it will be soon." "Hopefully he will bring news regarding the progress of the neo-Jedi enclave." Lents nodded in agreement, looking up into the sky.

Skeang arrived on Ossus already knowing where the enclave was, he motioned Sarvina to stay in the Headhunter.
"Your making me stay and watch the ship again?"
"You know the jedi don't enjoy your presence in there temples. This shouldn't take too long."
Skeang waited outside the temple as he had become accustomed to, the dark side power inside him stuck out like a sore thumb at every temple he had visited. He was reluctantly allowed in and began to look for Lents. It had been a quite some time since Skeang had seen him, and this would surely be a welcome break from the unruly neo-jedi he had become used to. Even under such dire circumstances.

Lents watched as the familiar Z-95 touched down on the landing dock. It was still for a moment, then the familiar pinkish-red hulking form of the gen'dai stepped out. Lents waved and walked over. "Skeang! It's good to see you again. Your message sounded urgent, what's wrong?" Almost out of force of habit, Lents grabbed onto the handle of his cross-saber, suddenly realizing that it was still not fully repaired. Ah, well. He had fought with one blade for a long time. He only hoped that he would be safe for whatever trouble Skeang had brought to his doorstep.

"Its nice to see you but I am afraid this is too risky to wait on." Skeang paused a moment to recollect his thoughts. He had become quite stressed knowing he was the only person with this information. "I just came from Bothawui and its a mess down there. My contact told me that a Jedi had killed several of the Bothan clan leaders, and dropped a satellite onto the clan building. The destruction was enormous, a real tragedy. Needless to say the Bothans are quite mad about the situation, attacking anyone who was with the jedi, which included me, on site. Skeang took a deep sigh before proceeding, he still blamed himself for his spy's death. "However the spy that he sensed a dark sider at the time the attack happened. On top of that he said it was a red haired Firrerreo male. I can't help but think that its got to be the sith you kept me from killing when we raided the palace." Skeang reached for his hammer as a means to occupy his hands to relieve stress. It was unfortunately at this time he realized that it had been left after Skeang had thrown down the wall, just another problem Skeang had to deal with. "The sith trying to sabotage your guys's good names would be typical enough but this is where it gets confusing. I was running through the streets trying to find that sith and came across a different sith who was with imperial troops. She had killed my spy and appeared to be looking for whoever caused the destruction on Bothawui. I came here to let you know that the Bothans are after your guys, and now my guys. And that someone is trying to sabotage your standings."

"Oh Lord..." Lents slumped against a column, in shock. To be fair, he and Skeang had caused a fair bit of destruction at the traffic control tower, but nothing near the order of dropping a satellite on a political headquarters. And the Jedi were responsible? Lents had received that PSA from the Emperor however many days ago that was, and was revolted at the way the Jedi were portrayed as anarchistic thugs. of course the Empire would milk this for all it was worth. But the fact that there was another Sith looking for the first that had obviously caused the destruction... that was interesting. Lents lamented letting the red-haired firrereo live, if he was in fact the perpetrator--for the lives lost as well as the sticky political mess into which the Jedi were now thrust. This was bad. "This is bad." He said. After a pause. "Do you know where we go next?" Do you have any leads? I just finished up a mission here, I'll go with you."

Skeang had been replaying the memories he had of that Firrerreo in his head. He was surprised that such a whelp was capable of that much destruction. He spoke to Lents, "Well I have contacts inside some of the academies that the sith train at, so if any of them see the guy who did this I will find out. But other than that I don't know how we could find the guy." Skeang knew trying to reason with the Bothans was a lost cause. "Well the Bothans were beyond reasoning, nearly forty of them were after me when I was fleeing Bothawui, not a single one willing to let me explain." Skeang took a seat trying to think of a proper plan of action until he did hear from one of his contacts. What the jedi needed now was an ally on par with the Bothans. "How about we gain the favor of someone else before whoever is behind this makes all of our potential allies hate us. The neo-jedi encampment on Dantooine was paid for through bounties my men did for the hutts. I'm sure one of us could get an audience with one of the more influential Hutts to arrange a partnership." Skeang wasn't fond of hutts but he knew that they were definitely capable. "They aren't trustworthy but I know its better to have them on our side than against us."

"Huttspace again, eh?" Lents mused, he hadn't been Eth Erzin in a few years now--would he want to take on his alter name? If he was trying to represent the Jedi, he may have to go in as Lents. Maybe he should go as Eth, and act as a friend to Skeang while he represented the neo-Jedi. Hutts seemed like they would like them better than true-blooded Jedi. Well, he could decide later. "To be honest I'm not sure how influential he is among hutts, but if Hurri is worth going after, we've already done work for him, so he's already biased in our favor. Should we head to him then?"

Skeang remembered Hurri from right when he had met Lents, "If anything he can get us an audience with a more important Hutt. Skeang stood up, he fit in well in Hutt space, though he didn't much care for the people there. Not many people took notice of him there. "Just one request, I may need a ride out there. Sarvina is in my ship, but I need to send her back to Dantooine. The group there is... impulsive to say the least. And if either me or her isn't there to keep order they might very well go on a rampage when they hear what happened on Bothawui."

"Understood; there's plenty of room in the 'Rush. Lents pulled out his datapad and remotely called his VT-49 to their coordinates. "It sounds like we have no time to spare, so let's go as soon as possible. If Sarvina's in your Headhunter, you can tell her to go, the 'Rush will be here in just a second." Lents watched the sky until he heard the familiar sound of the Illuminant Rush's engines. The ship landed softly in the clearing below the temple, and he motioned for Skeang to get on. "Luckily I've saved all the coordinates for past travel routes, so getting to huttspace should be fairly quick. And having a co-pilot will be nice too."
ooc: You can create the thread in huttspace if you want, or you can wait for me to, either way is fine.

The Corroded Serpent hit the Adega System from an unusual vector, but arrived all the same along the outer edges where the seven mooned Missarassa orbited. "Did you know it used to be called Idux?" Ryld Halcyon was drawn out of his deep thoughts by the question, his head coming up and his eyes turning to regard his son and former Padawan. The boy... or rather young man, he mused... was staring out the forward view screen of the heavily modified Action XIII freighter. It had been a rare occasion when he could see his son in the traditional trappings of their Jedi heritage, and Kaz cut an impressive figure suitable to the stories of times long passed. "No, I didn't."
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kaz turned a grin on his family, his mother was remaining silent but his father had taken the bait. "When it was a part of Xim's empire." When it had become clear that they were going to be joining the Jedi on Ossus, that they were going to begin the process of revealing themselves to the galaxy once more, Kaz had to admit to himself that he had grown a bit excited. At first, assisting in the process of preparations had been enough to sate that feeling. Renewing contact with the Antarian Rangers, assessing equipment, kicking around a couple of old vaults to see what all the family had collected over the centuries that might be useful to the endeavor, it had all required properly distracting effort.
But when preparations began to handle themselves for the most part Kaz had found himself overwhelmed with nervous energy. Meditation had helped a bit. However, it wasn't something that would just go away and so Kaz had thrown himself at the study of the system where things seemed to be blossoming. A once very famous war leader had once written, 'know your opponent and victory is ensured. Know your environment and your enemy will be superfluous.' How universal that wisdom truly might have been was questionable but Kaz could see the truth behind wanting to know the ground one would probably be defending at some point in the future. And so he'd thrown himself into the study of Ossus to past the time until their journey started.
From history to geography, even the Vong terraforming that had taken place on the world, it had all been looked into and studied with a certain intensity. His self-imposed education was the reason they had come out of hyperspace so close to when the third planet of the system, Ossus, would be passing by that end of the system. It's figure eight trajectory sometimes made it difficult to predict where in it's orbit it would be but, in his studies, Kaz had found a hyperspace jump calculation formula that would account for just that.
"Masters, the planet is hailing us. They haven't stated who they are, they're only asking us to identify ourselves." The communications officer announced. Ryld looked to his wife, Hallistra, briefly and then to his son. Kaz nodded, it was then or never and it was time to come out of hiding. They could all feel it through the Force, the moment of destiny had arrived. Ryld took a breath, savoring that last moment of illusory safety, and giving the word that would change everything for them. "Then by all means, answer them."
"This is the Antarian Ranger vessel Corroded Serpent. We are approaching with a passenger compliment of Jedi and a cargo of food and medical supplies donated by the people of Corellia... even if they don't necessarily know it. Requesting permission to land, and we're going to need a spot big enough for a bulk heavy freighter."

It had never been difficult to inspire a smile on Kaziki Halcyon's face, but the landing of the Corroded Serpent heralding the return of the Corellian Tradition of Jedi Knights to the Jedi Order had been rife with amusement for the young member of the Halcyon line. It had begun with nearly ten minutes it had taken to get a response from the planet in regards to their announcement and request to land. Impatience was never a problem for proper Jedi and so the Halcyon family, joined by the bridge crew of the vessel, had proceeded to amuse themselves with wild guesses as to the conversations and reactions their arrival was getting dirtside.
Considering there was likely a small army of Jedi planetside focusing a great deal of attention through the Force on the vessel had amused the young Corellian even more, as there was no doubt they would quickly sense the amusement on the bridge though not the source. When they got word from the planet that they were cleared to land, which didn't seem to take as long as it actually did considering the time passed in laughter, they immediately had to wait again for appropriate landing coordinates. This brought another round of jokes, taken in the same good humor as the last wait.
Finally, they were given the information they required along with an approved landing vector. Hallistra nodded in approval for that, she and the rest of her family knowing full well that vector was likely keeping them clear of important locations and well within the field of fire of whatever ground defenses the Order had managed to get into place thus far. The heavily modified bulk heavy freighter came in with its shields down and its weapons locked down in standby to prevent even the illusion of interest in combat, followed the landing vector to the letter, and set down gently in the cleared area that had been assigned to it.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Sensors say there are several dozen people in the immediate vicinity. Looks like a welcoming party... of one sort or another." "Corellian Jedi weren't that unpopular at any point in the Order's history."
Kaz turned away from the forward view port and started for the exit of the bridge. His father had a point, though he glossed over the fact that they were never all that popular either. In fact, though it had never come to blows between Jedi, the Corellians and the Order at large even stood on opposite sides during the Second Galactic Civil War. Without having to look Kaz knew his parents were on the move as well, following him down access hall toward the turbolift that served the majority of the ship. It was time to go out and reintroduce themselves to their long lost cousins in the Jedi Order.
The ride down was silent by mute agreement of all three family members. Kaz was looking toward the future, as was his habit in most quiet moments, waiting to see where the Force would ask him to go. He had a habit, whether bad or good, of getting side tracked when the Force had a whim but it almost always turned out to be for the best. At least from his point of view. His father and mother had other concerns on their minds and he could sense it. His mother worried over the fact that they were going to be joining a war that they would have very little control of. His father was at that moment preoccupied with figuring out how to make best use of the things they were going to offer to the Order to assist in its goals.
When the doors opened the elder Halcyons, as a couple, came face to face with last minute reports and questions from crew members. Fortunately, that allowed Kaz to slip by and away, making his way toward the cargo ramp of the vessel. It was the agreed upon point from which they and their fellow Corellian Jedi would disembark, followed shortly and without hesitation by the supplies they had gathered before leaving Corellian space. There were two rows of Jedi, all of them peacefully still as they awaited the lowering of the doors with many of their packs already shouldered. Kaz walked between the two rows, endeavoring to disturb none of them from their meditations and ruminations, until he had reached the threshhold of the cargo doors.
Kaz took a long, deep breath and let it out slowly. Releasing with it all of his fears and anxieties. Letting the Force flow through him and suffuse every particle of his being, he was a Jedi and now was the time when it truly had to show. He folded his hands together, each one up the opposite sleeve of his robes. His tall, black field boots, black pants, and black under tunic all served to underscore the Corellian green over tunic he wore. All were in fine materials, one of the few nods to his family's personal wealth he allowed, and all protected by a traditionally rough and easily replaced Jedi robe of a dark but non-specific color that would blend with almost any shadow in a pinch.
Kaz was joined by a trio of Antarian Rangers, their blue para-military spacer uniforms covered only by the Antarian Ranger 'uniform' of a brown bomber-style jacket. The temperate and heavily forested world might convince them to take off the jackets in short order but Kaz knew that would be a hard fight considering how long it had been since any of those brave beings had been able to wear them in public. He, himself, felt much the same way about his Jedi robes. He was content to wait for his parents, the real leaders of this little adventure, to join him but somebody upstairs on the command deck apparently disagreed for suddenly the hiss of a broken atmosphere seal filled the air and the bay doors began to lower into their ramp position.
The lowering doors revealed the two groups to one another, a gathering of troops and apparent Jedi standing on the edge of the landing field faced the vessel and watched as the contents of the bulk freighter came into sight. Not about to hesitate Kaz didn't even look back to see where Ryld and Hallistra Halcyon might be, he merely strode forward as the ramp settled on the landing field, striding through the low cloud of debris that had been set up by the relatively gentle impact of the heavy slab of durasteel. The trio of Antarian Rangers followed him step for step, forming what he hoped was an impressive honor guard as he made his way toward the beings that looked to be in charge of the place.

Master Beckoaret* and the Master without Name stood shoulder to shoulder as leaders of the Reborn Jedi Order as the heir to the Halcyon family descended from his freighter. The Cerean stepped forward. "Hello, son of Halcyon, and welcome to Ossus. We know that your family's order has not always seen eye-to-eye with the traditional Jedi establishment," he coughed slightly, "But words cannot express our joy at having you here with us at this time." The human took his place alongside the Cerean again. "Now is a time for strengthening the bonds we do share, and even making some new unexpected friends." Master Beckoaret laughed, then motioned behind him towards the stately Jedi temple. "Come along with us into the temple and tell us about how you came to us, and we can discuss putting the resources you have to offer the cause to best use." "And then shortly thereafter, hopefully get to your training. I hear your parents are quite talented in the ways of the Force, and that you show much promise yourself as a Jedi Padawan." They turned and headed inside, to walk and talk.
