With his new Katarn-commando armor on, Jack sat motionless in his individual pod, waiting to be released into the heat of battle. It was strange however, that there were no cannons being fired onto the enclave, like the commander said they would. The canon fire would provide an opening for the Gloom Walkers to get in the premises. Jack shifted in his Katarn armor. Like the commander said it was very light, and it was no doubt very durable, but it lacked the one thing he treasured most, mobility. Even though it was a significant improvement over the older model, it had the exact same exterior, therefore creating a bulky soldier which was that much easier to hit. "Sir, where not getting any movement below." a random voice rang into his helmet. That was odd, considering the attack hadn't even begun yet. The initial plan of attack was that Jack and his company would be carried over to a civilian cargo ship and placed in the pods. Then the imperial fleet would send a barrage of cannon fire onto the enclave to occupy the Jedi. While the Jedi were worried a bout getting out of cannon fire the cargo ship would innocently fly over the enclave and release the troops to finish the job. "Sir, we just got word from higher." The random voice rang again "Were gonna go ahead and send you boys down there to check it out, don't worry the blast from your pods landing should end any idea of an ambush." Jack didn't like it but what other choice did he have. He spoke into his speaker built in the helmet. "A-Team are you green?" "Green sir!" Lieutenant Jenkins replied. "B-Team are you green?" "Green sir!" Lieutenant Stiles replied even louder. "Command this is Captain Starbuck, we are ready to deploy and assault the compound over." "Captain Starbuck you are clear to engage, if you see any of them down there, give them hell, this is command, out." The random voice said again. Within seconds Jack felt his body go weightless, he was falling. He griped his A280 blaster rifle with white knuckles, even for an elite soldier he was always nervous about any engagement he may encounter, honestly he thought it made him a better fighter on the field. Soon he felt the hard thud of the ground make contact with his pod. The pods hatch opened up and he jumped out with rile raised at the ready, nothing. Until he hooked up with his squad he would be alone. He looked up to see he crashed right through a roof, he couldn't help but smile "Cool". He put his chin up and started to clear the smaller rooms around him.

Bardok released the flow of the force. With it he had stopped the dura-crete over his head from crushing him. Dust filled the room, making it difficult to see. He resisted the urge to cough, for he was not alone. In the center of the room was a large escape pod. Thick metal wrapped around the circumference of the capsule. Bardok could sense the lifeform inside the pod. The person was a little scared. Good. Fear was a powerful weapon which he knew how to wield. There was a small hissing noise and then the pod's door popped off. It flew across the room into the wall. A soldier stepped out of the pod, rifle raised, and proceeded to clear the room, his back to Bardok. Satisfied that nothing was on his left, he whirled around. The moment he saw Bardok, he fired, yelling a war cry. Bardok was prepared for this, and in an instant he drew his lightsaber and deflected the bolt that would have struck his chest off into the far wall. Channeling the force, he reached out to the trooper and grabbed his throat and lifted him a foot off the ground. The trooper dropped his rifle and grabbed at his neck. " What do you think you are doing! You dare fire upon a Sith lord?!" The soldier continued to claw at his throat. He managed through much effort to say, " N-no my lord! It was a mistake on my part, I was expecting a jedi! I mean no disrespect towards you my lord!" He kicked his legs in a pitiful attempt to somehow stop his assailent. " What the are you doing here then trooper? What unit are you from?" " My lord, I am with the Gloomwalkers! We are here to ambush the jedi enclave! We are the ambush sent in to take them by suprise!" This was all too perfect. At the mention of the Gloomwalkers, Bardok could not help but laugh a dark, terrible laugh. Captain Jack was here then. He had intelligence as to the whereabouts of the jedi meant to be here. Bardok released his hold on the trooper. He collapsed on the ground and coughed, inhaling hard. Bardok could play this to his advantage. " I assume then that you're commander is here?" " Yes my lord. The captain is here. I am supposed to rendevous with him and my squad as quickly as possible before the jedi pick us off one by one." " You fool there are no jedi. Your mission is a failure. They have already left. Your new mission is to take me to your commander." " Yes Lord...uhh...." " You will know me as... Darth Titus." " Yes Lord Titus." The trooper got up to one knee and lowered his head as he said this, his voice a little raspy. " What is your name soldier?" " I am Seargent Tarkan my lord." " Very well. Let's move now Tarkan." " Yes my lord." Tarkan grabbed his rifle and rose slowely to his feet. He stood a good two feet shorter than Titus did. He checked the rifle, chambered a round, and turned to lead the way down a corridor. This was going to play out better than Titus could have hoped.

After Jack cleared a perimeter to feel safe in, he placed himself between a rock and the escape pod for cover. As he was about to activate his mic. to contact the rest of the company Tarkon came on the other line. "C-Captain, *cough* we have a visitor." "Jedi?" "No, better." "Alright well can you take care of it? I need to get the rest of the company together." "Sir, he wants to see you." there was a long pause 'who could possibly be here' "Fine you have my location on the sonar built into your helmet. Come toward me nice and slow." After a couple of minutes he could see Tarkon's bulky Katarn armor come out from one of the walls, and behind him, a huge dark figure trailed behind him. His sights instantly went to the shadowy figure in the room. After a second of analyzing the figure Jack put his rifle down. 'could it be?' Jack slowly came out of his position of the rocks and rifle lowered. He walked toward the two. Seeing the dark figure there was no way he could be anyone else. It has been many years since he has come face to face with those of the dark side. Seeing his image instantly sparked anger, and rage from his youth, and something else, fear. As he got closer he noticed the darkening power of the man. "My Lord" Jack managed to say through gritted teeth. It was protocol to kneel before a sith lord, but Jack didn't. Not out of pride but out of envy. He took of his helmet to face the man and see his face clearer. When he took the helmet off he could already feel the cool air surrounding him, he didn't recognized him but he looked oddly familiar. It was wise not to piss him off. "I'm sorry but we were not expecting a visitor of such high rank to be with us." another pause "My lord."

Seargent Tarkon led Titus down several corridors and passageways. The seargent was ever on the alert, his rifle brought to bear, ready to fire at a moment's notice. After a few minutes, the seargent's fear had decreased a good amount, down to more of a slight nervousness. Titus attributed it to the thought that maybe the seargent believed himself to be safe now that he was in the presence of a powerful sith lord. Oh was he sorely mistaken. Titus cared nothing for his life, nor for anyone else's. He cared only for one thing. The seargent was merely a pawn in the plan that Titus had obsessed relentlessely over for the last seven years of his life. "We are not going fast enough. You need to get me there now, seargent" "Yes my lord, we will be approaching Captain Starbuck's position in a moment." After a few seconds passed, Titus realized the seargent to be right. He could sense the captain's presence now. The captain was a little annoyed. But his sharp mind was focused in the battle mindset one would expect of a soldier on the field. The seargent turned another corner, gave a hand signal and walked into another room. Darth Titus turned the corner and entered the room a second after. The moment he came into view of Jack, the captain's emotions went on a rampage. Titus sensed the expected fear, but he found that Jack was also feeling an enormous sense of rage and anger. This suprised Titus greatly. He ran through all the possibilities in his head that might have elicited such a reaction. Nothing came to mind. As far as he knew, Jack had never laid eyes upon him. Titus erased these thoughts from his head. They didnt matter. Even if the Captain wanted to, he would be very hard pressed to harm a dark lord of the sith. Titus believed he could crush the weakling with little to no difficulty. And the captain did not kneel before Titus as was custom to do so to the generals of the Empire. It mattered little to Titus anyway. He cared not for such idleness. The captain said, "My lord, I'm sorry but we were not expecting a visitor of such high rank to be with us," he paused for a moment, before adding, "my lord." Titus ignored the Captain's greeting."Captain, I have a new mission for you and your team."

'New mission? already? did higher really send a sith down to retrieve him and his team so quickly?' Jack straightened his posture. "And what exactly would that be my lord?"

"There are no longer any jedi here. They either anticipated the suprise attack or decided to change the meeting location just in case something like this happened." Titus scoweled, twisting his already menacing face into a mask of pure hatred. "Your new mission, captain, is to find out the location of these jedi, take me there, and together we will ambush and kill them all."

Without even taking the actual request into consideration, Jack automatically nodded his head. "It will be done." turning away from the Sith Lord he actually thought of the difficulty. 'how the hell?' He figured he would just call higher to give them the update, and see if they tracked any ships leaving the system. He pulls out his holopad and dials the number for higher. Commander Nazloomian's image appears on the pad. "Sir, we've scoured the area and the Jedi are not in sight, sir?" "Well Captain you may be in luck, one of our intelligence satellites have picked up ships leaving the area of the enclave to jump to Kashyyyk." Jack raised an eyebrow "Not to mention if it wasn't for the Emperors insight we wouldn't have found the ships, so get ready to be picked up Captain, you and your men are heading to Kashyyyk." "Yes sir, I will have them ready ASAP." Nazloomian gave him a nod "Nazloomian out." Jack turned around to face the Sith with a smirk. "Mission accomplished my lord, it looks as if the Jedi are heading to Kashyyyk." He didn't bother to include the Sith in his report. The sith usually had their own agenda so he'd let him do what he wanted.

Xeones Alden shifted around in the prone position trying to get comfortable. The view wasn't bad from atop the 200 story hotel in the middle of Courasant. His focused remained on the Jedi Temple five miles away. He and his team of three had been there for three days now. Most people would be fine with a job that required staying completely idle in a 5star Hotel, but not Alden. He missed the mud, the rain, the screaming instructors as he could barely push out his last set of pushups. This was his first mission since graduating from his training. It wasn't bad, go in first, observe Jedi Activity before the attack. It had been two days since the Jedi left, Lt. Choi suspected they too would be pulled out of Courasant. Just when Alden was going to rotate from observation post with Sgt. Mendez, the Lt. called them both into the hotel room. "Okay listen in guys command is about to contact us," The Lt. flipped open the handheld Satillite phone. "Hotel 1-1 this is Delta 2-6 sending message over," "This is Hotel 1-1 send it, over," "Hotel we need you to mobilize immediatly. Proceed to Extraction Romeo, you will be briefed from there, over." "Roger that Delta2-6 Heading to extract Romeo," out.

The Sith seemed pleased. Jack placed his helmet back onto his head and pressed his cheek into the mic. "Imperial bay 4? This is Captain Starbuck, the area's deserted so we might need some extraction if thats ok with you." a pause "Yes captain right away, a shuttle will be there shortly." "Roger that." Jack turned to see the Sith lords still image. "My lord you are welcome to come aboard if you would like...I have a feeling we will be sent to Kashyyyk real soon here." The Sith didn't reply but only smiled. "Right" Jack turned away to contact his squad. "Alpha, Bravo, you guys clear?" both his lieutenants sounded over the mic. "Yes Sir" "alright go ahead and get your squads into the court yard and await pickup." another "yes sir!" He looked back up to the Sith and Tarkon, "Alright my lord if you will come this way." He led the two into the court yard to be greeted with silence among the rest of his men. after 7 minutes two drop-ships came down, and everyone got on board, the sith was the first to get on. Once airborne one of Starbucks private channels were activated "Private Channel sir?" it was Tarkon "Private Channel go ahead." "Sir, why the hell are we bringing this arrogant piece of kriff with us, he almost killed me once, and I don't want to have to always be walking around with my head between my legs." "Well this is Jedi Business Sergeant, I'm not totally surprised. But don't worry once we get him aboard we won't have to deal with him or his kind anymore." "For your sakes I hope so sir." Jack smiled.

Titus stood, feet firmly planted on the rock outcropping beneath the crest of the massive waterfall. Hundreds of gallons of water crashed all around him and slammed into his back with such force, it was all he could do to remain standing. The weight of the water combined with the thunderous roar of water smashing stone and the fact that he could see very little made him a perfect target. "You must learn to see and hear with your mind , not just your eyes and ears," his master had told him. "Through the power of the dark side your enemies will be revealed to you, and with the darkside, you will crush them." With his master's words still in his mind, Titus tried to reach out with the force to sense his opponent. It was difficult to focus though: he had to lift the immense weight of the water pounding his back and keep his balance, and ignore the deafening roar of the great falls. Suddenly a red blade ignited in the mist, and his master lunged at him, stiking from on high. Titus deflected the blow, his own crimsen blade ignited. He swung back, but his master jumped back into the mist, deactivating his lightsaber in the process. Titus tried again to reach out with the force to sense his master. He searched, his rage building.... And he found him. He spun and prepared for the next assault. But instead of the red blade of his master, a green one ignited. It pierced the falling water, causing steam to sizzle and rise. And where the blade made contact, the water stopped falling and through the mist stepped a jedi. Not just a jedi: the one who had killed her. The murderer. The thief who had taken everything from him. Titus was shocked. No he was frozen. His anger was building, but he could not unleash the powerful torrent of lightning he'd built up. Intsead all he could do was stand frozen. The jedi merely smiled at him, a cruel, crooked smile. He lunged at Titus-
Titus awoke with a start. He was drenched in sweat. He'd been dreaming. He swung his feet out of the covers and onto the floor. He could remember that day, training in the waterfall with his master on some distant planet, several years ago. He needed to get some air.
Titus stood on the bridge of the ship, staring out at the stars. 'I will avenge you, my love.'
