Debriefing

Jack heard a knock on his door. He got up and checked his clock, he was asleep for 14 hours. "Come in". A young lieutenant walked in who looked at Jack then down at the floor "Uh your wanted on the bridge...sir." "Alright thanks." The lieutenant gave a crisp salute then left. Jack gave a long sigh, at least he was able to sleep. He got up and put on his working Khaki's, he brushed off his captain bars then his infantry badge then last his gloom walker patch. He reached for his sword but then thought against it and brought out his personal DL-44 blaster pistol, holstered it in his belt and walked out the door.
after 20 minutes he finally reached the bridge.
He walked forward to see Commander Joan turn around with a cast on his arm, his look was sour but he dropped it and motioned the Captain forward.
"You wanted to see me sir?"
"Yes Colonel Jones wishes to speak with you, so sit tight." After two minutes Colonel Jones walked aboard, and the entire crew on deck snapped to attention including Starbuck.
"At ease gentlemen." After that everyone went back to work
The Colonel walked up to the front of the bridge where Jack and Joan were still in a attention like manner. He walked up to Joan "So is it true Commander that Captain Starbuck doesn't seem to think this battle is winnable?"
"Y..yes sir" Even though commander Joan was in charge of the ship, Colonel Jones was higher ranking and was in charge of the ground forces for the invasion. He then turned to Jack. "And why would that be Mr. Starbuck?"
Jack looked Jones in the eye "Because we don't have the resources sir."
Jones only stared back
"Explain."
"Sir, with all due respect its rather foolish to send one star destroyer to take out a Jedi Enclave, much less expecting what little men we have to capture Jedi."
"Oh I think it possible Captain, I just don't think you didn't work hard enough."
At that moment Jack relapsed all of his memories of the battle, he wanted to lash out in anger but chose against it.
"With all due respect sir you can think all you want, but those Jedi down there are not to be underestimated." Jones and Jack stared for what seemed like hours
"Well Jack you were the one down there doing the job so I will trust your judgement, your one of the best soldiers the empire has to offer, but that doesn't mean your and your men are off the leash."
"Thank you sir"
"Don't thank me, your gonna regret this later, you know what the empire does to... cowards."
Jack lost it
"Excuse me?! my men and I fought and died down there! I lost some of my best men, now don't you dare! don't you ever dare of accusing us for cowardice!"
"Oh really? then what would you explain happened down there huh?"
"That... was me looking after your men because apparently you don't"
Jones straightened his posture
"I could honestly care less about them," he turned to leave "and I could care less about you too Jack." He took a couple of more steps " Continue the assault on Kashyyyk and give it everything we have, as for Captain Starbuck, send him to the brig and keep him there until we return to Coruscant victorious." At this two deck officers came and relieved Jack of his pistol and placed him in cuffs. He didn't put up a fight as he watched the Colonel walk out the door.

(OOC: I will be posting as Tarkin for a while since Jack is in captivity.)

Tarkin walked into the central communications room, to be greeted by two deck officers.
"What do you need Sergeant?"
"I need to make contact with the tech department on coruscant, the HUDs for our Katarn helmets are a little glitchy."
"Can't central tech on the 3rd deck get what you need?"
"If they could then I wouldn't be here, now would I?"
"Guess not, go ahead."
Tarkin stepped into a small individual room. He entered the data pad for a transfer to coruscant but however he dialed the number of Admiral Yularen.
"This is Admiral Yularens office, Terri speaking."
"Terri hi, this is Staff Sergeant Tarkin can I talk to Admiral Yularen please?"
"Um I'm sorry he's a bit busy right now."
"Can you tell him this is urgent mam?"
Tarkin heard Yularens voice in the background
"Ah come on sweety who is it? I'm not doin anything worth kriff!"
"Um its a sergeant Tarkin sir?"
"Tarkin? haaha what does that little barve want? Patch him through!"
(OOC: So Admiral Yularen has a Scottish accent because he's a badass, just sayin.)
Yularen's holo image appeared before Tarkin.
"Staff Sergeant Tarkin! its good to hear from yeh, how goes the invasion?"

Tarkin and Jack both knew Yularen personally. When they first became sergeants their unit was assigned to rescue Yularen from a radical religious group. They found the Admiral but were separated from the rest of the task force. All-in-All the three escaped unscathed, however the admiral did the best he could to keep in contact with the two as he was very grateful. It wasn't long after that Jack graduated from his officer training and the two became closer than ever. With both of them being officers they went to officer only clubs to discuss current affairs and battle philosophy while Tarkin had no real desire or rank to join them. Yularen became Jacks mentor, and influenced him to live the life of a moral warrior and to not make calculated cold decisions. Jack was the man he was today because of the admiral, however some of the things he taught him were not in the best interest of the imperial military doctrine. Either way Jack was a better man because of it.

"Well sir I wish I could say it was going well, but were kind of in a hold up."
"Oh? How so?"
"Well sir, you know of Colonel Jones?"
"Why yes, that little sleemo is a butcher he is."
"Well he is now, and he's sending everything he has at Kashyyyk when its clearly not enough."
"Yes he did seem a bit rash to jump the gun on the whole invasion deal, it was because of that higher didn't give him enough troops. He needs to pull back."
"Thats what Captain Starbuck recommended, but he retaliated by throwing him in the brig."
"Then he's going to kill yeh all."
There was a pause
"Tarkin, you and Jack, as well as your men need to get out of there immediately, once Jonesy has made a decision he's doesn't go back on it, it's stupid."
"Sir?...is that legal?"
"I will make it legal! You need to get your bloody ass out of there Tarkin before its too late!"
"Yes sir, and thank you."
"Don't mention it sergeant, now go!"
The holo image of Yularen went out and Tarkin went back to the barracks the walkers were stationed.
He walked in with the most command presence he could summon
"Alright you little spit fucks! pack up and get geared where leaving this hell hole!"
one of the corporals pitched in
"Uh sergeant?"
"Were bustin Captain Jack out of the brig and were finding a way back to Coruscant, Colonel Jones is now AWOL (Absent Without Leave) "
Tarkin saw many of the walkers grin wide with anticipation as they put their armor on, he knew half of these guys were convicts, so the idea of a breakout was more than fine with them.

Tarkin walked casually alongside 5 other walkers in full combat gear. They kept their helmets off to not draw suspicion. He sent the other six to on of the lesser used docking bays to commandeer an imperial shuttle for escape. They took a longer route to the brig to again draw less suspicion. They were passing by docking bay six when an unknown shuttle landed in the bay. Tarkin was nudged by Dab who saw the man walk out. Tarkin realized it to be Xeones.
"Well what do ya know, what are you doing here soldier?"

As Tarkin walked to shake Xeones hand, an imperial trooper followed by a small squad of imperial MP's (military police) grabbed Xeones arm pulling him away and placing hands in cuffs. "Excuse me sergeant, but this man is required for questioning." Tarkin stared at the trooper then to his rank. "For what corporal?" "This man is considered to have been an accomplice of Captain Starbuck and we are to take him to Colonel Jones." Tarkin thought for a minute. "Sounds good, were heading that way anyway, you might need a little help. You know how them recon guys are feisty and all." Tarkin looked to Xeones and gave him a wink.

The group walked a couple hundred meters until they were in one of the many hallways. Tarkin looked over to Dab and gave him a nod. Then simultaneously Tarkin and Dab raised their rifles and butted two of the captors in the back of the head knocking both out, instantly. The other Gloom Walkers initiated attack as they fired upon the squad. Their weapons were set for stun so no real harm was done. Tarkin knelt by Xeones and pulled out his vibroblade and cut the cuffs around his hands. "Welcome to the fight Xeones." he then handed back Xeones his rifle that was confiscated earlier.

"Right, then lets go, the brig is this way." They continued walking down the hallway when the alarms went off. All the gloom walkers looked around in confusion. "kriff! that was quick, alright lets move!" At this the walkers donned on their helmets "Alright, no more being subtle gentlemen, keep blasters to stun and shoot anything that moves, got that?!" "Yes sir!" all the men sounded in unison.

(OOC: Back to Jack)

Jack sat in his cell with his hands folded near his mouth. He heard the alarms go off, and smiled. "about time."

Ailurec gave a shiff swift nod and followed out just as quick as he had. She didn't question anything he told her to do. He knew what he was doing. She heard some alarms go off and saw some soldiers turn and run down a hall. Looking over at Maximus she inclined her head towards the way the men ran and raised an eyebrow. As if asking a silent question 'That way?'
